“I ordered the special, the pepperjack mac n cheese....for $16.50..just a bowl of mac n cheese. I bit into raw onions and raw peppers. definitely wasn't expecting that. It was NOT GOOD!! why would you do that to mac n cheese??? service was good... not sure if I will be back...“

“This is my favorite place to eat in Mt Vernon. The breakfast sandwich on a croissant is absolutely delicious! The fish and chips are excellent too and the portions are huge.
Parking: Gene's has its own parking lot with plenty of parking.

“We stopped in at Pub 282 this afternoon. The beer was cold and tasty, the pizza (Cama Beach - with pepperoni, sausage, red onion, green pepper and olives) was delicious❣️Had a great time❣️“

“Food was awesome. Big delicious burgers. Large portions of fries or onion rings. The onion rings were the best I've had in years.
The interior? It needs some love. It has a musty odor. Maybe because it's next to the river and has been flooded a few times? Maybe the fish tank? Not sure. The tables and booth seats are maybe 40 years old.
Service was great. Friendly staff.“
