“I've started going here fairly regularly and I've always had exceptional service and the drinks I get are always fantastic. The owner always crafts me the most delicious drinks and has an incredible smile that always brightens my day, regardless of how it was going beforehand. Their message is also great to see and fits their name very well.“

“One of my fav stops along the Fruit Loop! It’s a must stop. They have jam taste testing galore! So many treats, I got the apple empanada, cookies, pears, apple cider donuts and apple cider. They let us taste test the apple cider slushie and pumpkin milk shake and so yum!!!! It’s not too expensive compared to others. Their apple and pears are by the point and reasonable. The smell as you walk in is amazing!!!“

“Popped in a little before closing on a Monday evening. Great atmosphere with vinyls spinning, calm space, bar cat, and great beers! Thoroughly enjoyed the Helles and the dry Irish stout. Friendly service with good information about the flavor profiles of the beers. Will definitely return.“

“Pine Street Bakery ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 9/15/22, I stopped in Hood River, Oregon to check out Pine Street Bakery. Owner Megan Davis’s mother started Grand Central Bakery in Seattle, Washington in 1972. Today, there are 11 locations between Portland and Seattle. If you ever have an opportunity to visit a Grand Central Bakery/Café, I recommend it. I wanted to try one of their famous Cardamom Knots, which are Challah dough slathered in Vanilla Butter, covered in Cardamom Sugar and tied in a Knot. Unfortunately, they were out. I got a Carrot Cake cupcake ($5), which is one of their best sellers, as well as a Maddie Cake cupcake ($5). The Maddie Cake cupcake is a seasonal cupcake that changes with some regularity. The current Maddie Cake cupcake is Peaches & Cream. It is Vanilla cake filled with Peach compote made from local peaches, topped with a Vanilla Swiss Meringue Butter cream frosting. I enjoyed both cupcakes but my favorite of the two was the Maddie Cupcake because it was so unique. There was a generous amount of peach compote in the center of the cupcake, as well as on top. The compote had great flavor. Both cupcakes were fairly dense but moist. In addition to the baked goods and breads, Pine Street Bakery has Breakfast, Lunch, and Coffee menus, as well as specials. They also sell a lot of other products and fresh flowers. Highly Recommended!!!“
“The perfect coffee shop! The barista is super friendly and helpful! The hand-crafted drinks taste like they are made with care, not just churned out of an assembly line. The breakfast burritos are fresh and delicious. The outdoor seating is lovely, but if you are in a hurry, it's easy to get in and out fast. Prices are very reasonable. Great place!“

“It was an excellent vineyard for a glass of wine ?after a day of windsurfing. The host was really lovely, and the views and atmosphere were fantastic. It was a little off the beaten path, but I really enjoyed the late afternoon. Would recommend a visit if you get the opportunity.“

“Some of the best authentic Mexican food in the area. I’ve always had great service coming here and my food always comes out pretty fast! I come here regularly and definitely recommend giving it a try if this is something that you’re looking for!“
“Love that the menu has things labeled as vegan or vegan friendly with notes on how to customize a dish. Vegan mac and cheese was the best Ive ever tried any where. There is also a veggie burger, farro bowl, and multiple loaded salads. Also some bomb appetizers.“
“I highly recommend Marchesi Vineyards! Their wine was exquisite, great service, amazing views and ambiance. I felt like i was in Italy!“
“I always enjoy wine tasting here. The wines are divine, and today, our attendant was especially helpful in finding a sweet wine in a region of dry wines for my friend. I've also been a member here in the past and loved the benefits, including wine delivery. They have vineyards and a large grassy lawn and garden area with views of Mt. Adam's and the gorge.“
“What a rad little shop! Nice collection of taps and bottles/cans. Amanda and Ika were a treat to hang out with. Will definitely be back.“

“This is where you want to be. Cider is top notch this side of the pond (and the in comparison to the otherside). Flavor is perfect. I prefer semi to not sweet cider and this place hits the spot. Flavor is amazing. The apples shine through and the accompanying flavors only add to the experience. Now for the food. Cornbread… get it. It’s amazing. Pretzels are perfect bar fare. The tostada… yes it’s delicious and the verde with it. It’s saved and we’ll be back.“

“Best food in Hood River! And right up there with the top restaurants in Portland, as well. Tasty seafood options, steaks, pasta. Good variety, focusing on quality over quantity. Beautiful presentation. Desserts are top notch and in appropriate proportions. Having been here many times over the years, we drove an hour from Portland just for dinner on a beautiful day. The views from the deck are wonderful!“

“My husband and I always stop here when in town. Im vegan and my favorite is the breakfast bowl with salsa verde. Hands down in my top three favorite places to eat. The service is always outstanding! Thanks so much!“
“Great selection of wines, absolutely beautiful interior and view of the river. My only disappointment was the Frozé. Tasted like a cheap slushy rather than an actual frozen Rosé drink that cost 16$. The packaging was great tho! Super cool idea.“

Parking: When very busy I suggest ordering online, And then going up. It's awesome to park there and eat on the deck or park and watch the airplanes and helicopter go off and onto the runway.“

“Excellent Christian, Kid-Friendly Vacation Dining Experience
I did not know what to expect at first but when the valet taking our keys quoted Shakespeare I knew I was home! His bow was appropriately and respectably deep—his posture perfect as he turned and opened the door for my family to enter, offering me his arm to take my genuine 1917 Macy’s coyote fur coat and matching hat to the coat check.
The first thing I noticed once inside, besides an elegant Mozart sonata playing in the background (the Berlin harmonic, if I am not mistaken), was that all of the k9 companions were wearing little bow ties!!! So charming.
A sign etched in silver above the extravagantly adorned bar conveniently anounced the Wi-Fi password, and I was overjoyed to realize it referenced one of the most prescient of all the psalms—a considerate and heart warming detail.
In a wonderful nod to Americana, the amuse-bouche hors d’oeuvre was a mash up of “corn dogs” and “corn hole”, a delicious game of skill requiring physical agility and prowess.
The menu itself was an ode to rustic nostalgia—mozzarella sticks (free-range, and shipped overnight from an island off the coast of Italy then presented with an heirloom tomato reduction) were served in hand-blown Murano glass ramekins, and a deconstructed cheeseburger later arrived in a quartet of tasting plates. Each bite was a triumph of flavor and innovation, though the omission of a palate cleanser between courses was a slight disappointment.
My only minor complaint is that the silverware was not properly appointed, with soup and salad spoon-and-forks curiously reversed in placement, a faux pas that would not go unnoticed at even the most middling Parisian brasserie. While I appreciated the effort to present a soup spoon of sterling origin, its placement to the right of the dinner knife was a perplexing oversight of culinary etiquette.
The children especially enjoyed their dessert, which came in the form of an interactive s’mores-based reenactment of the Battle of Thermopoly, complete with a table-side blowtorch and imported Belgian chocolate “rocks!” (Though charming, the flambé nearly singed my husband’s cashmere ascot. A minor detail, but one to address for future evenings of refined revelry.)
All in all, a stellar establishment that, despite a few lapses in traditional finery, deserves accolades for its ambition and successful attempt to embody the feel of a “local dive bar.” Wonderful theme! Bravo!

“Super awesome place, flew here by airplane. Winery is short walk from airport, Tessa and other services were nice and remember from a previous visit. Got French fries, and other drink. Great atmosphere and fabric shades reminiscent of ship sails.
Great place, would return again. Good so see friendly dogs and even a cat there“
