“Idiots Grace is a beautiful little winery hidden away in the Columbia Gorge on the eastern edge of Mosier, Oregon. My wife and I had the fortune of knowing someone who is a member of the Idiots Grace wine club and tagged along with them when they went to pickup a few bottles of wine. I'm a bit of a novice at wine tasting but I've never experienced anything like what's offered at Idiots Grace. We sat outside on a beautiful day in the shade while a wine steward brought us a sample of six wines ranging from white, rose to red. The steward described each wine in detail and mentioned a few other wines she thought we might like. Two of the wines I ended up buying (2020 Marssonne Roysanne & 2020 Dolcetta) came from grapes harvested after the 2020 Oregon wildfires which gave them a bit of a smokey flavor (which I loved). Idiots Grace is a hidden gem and I highly recommend giving it a try.“
“GREAT food.I can't pronounce most of the menu items, and with the menu changes, I can't remember what I ordered previously... but it never matters. Whatever i get is delicious every time. I've been here about 7 times now, and I have been impressed with each and every visit by this consistently fantastic food.“
“Great food every time we come here. The service is top notch. We Love this place and the owners are very friendly and give you a sense of family while enjoying your meal. If you are in the area you half to stop in and enjoy a fantastic meal here.“
“This place is great! Thai and Japanese fusion dishes with well developed flavor, and springy, chewy noodles. I love that if you order your food "hot," it's actually spicy. It's super nice to have a good option open after 8pm, too. We've tried several of their dishes over the years. The duck ramen, khao soy, and mazemen are our favorites. The chili wontons and karaage are consistently good. The takoyaki can be a little light on octopus but heavy on toppings and prepared well.Vegetarian options: Several veggie or vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten-free rice noodle options available for most dishesParking: Small parking lot and street parking. Can be difficult on crowded days.“
“We stopped at this vineyard on a tour from Portland to mt.hood and it was easily one of our favorites! Their lunch options were so good… charcuterie boards and different sandwiches. They had great views and alpacas in the field in the back! They accomadated our larger tour group so we could all sit together and chat which o thought was a very nice touch rather than us spreading out in our smaller groups.“
“I always try to stop by Love and Hominy when I'm in Hood River. The tacos are really fun fusion flavors with great veg options. We had some fantastic NA drinks this time, even served with a frosty boot mug! I didn't get a picture of the tacos because we inhaled them. Yum!The staff here is always so nice! Seriously, the best service.Vegetarian options: All tacos can be made vegetarian by choosing tempeh or tofu as the protein.Dietary restrictions: Most tacos can be made vegan.“
“You can't go wrong with a couple beer battered fish tacos, they give you big pieces of fish and they are delicious. Was feeling like trying something different so I asked about the Morena, was described as a sort of mexican pizza and that's definitely a good description. Let me tell you the Morena is amazing! It's cheesy and savory, exactly what I was craving!“
“What an interesting venue! People were enjoying the patio outside and children were playing board games at the comfortable tables downstairs. We found a great cabernet on the sale table. Great flavor and amazing value! Our server was friendly and gave us lots of fun ideas for things to do in the area.“
“We just dropped by after Eagle watch. The staff was so kind and friendly, she explained each of our tastings in such a personable and detailed way. Their wines are so delicious. We will definitely be back to visit again!Photograph by Yu-Min, Su (Instagram @charliesu_yms)“
“Popped in a little before closing on a Monday evening. Great atmosphere with vinyls spinning, calm space, bar cat, and great beers! Thoroughly enjoyed the Helles and the dry Irish stout. Friendly service with good information about the flavor profiles of the beers. Will definitely return.“
“This place is wonderful. It’s a treasure of Mosier that has been here since we moved here. The food is fantastic and even better are the people that work there. They are always kind, hard working and look you in the eye. While there are now two taco trucks in town, this one is far better in my opinion.“
“This place is great! They carry my favorite beer Rockford 10 and other exotic beers that you can only find at volcanic. I also really like that they do delivery. It's great because I walk and it would be really difficult to carry back all my good beer with a grocery bag so thanks volcanic!“
“Best street tacos in the Columbia Gorge!! Free up in the gorge and live in Montana now. I go here as many times as I can when I come back for a visit. My brother even had me get some to go even though he won't get them for another 10 hours.“
“Coming here was so much fun! Dave from The Place in Portland spoke highly of checking out one of the tasting room days and did not exaggerate. The tasting room and grounds are beautiful with lots of parking. It was fun getting to learn more about the cidery from the owners. Everyone who was there was really into cider which was super cool! I don't run into that very much. All of their cider was super tasty. I especially enjoyed tasting their new series of ciders. The food they had was super tasty was well. Everything provided was the perfect pairing for their delicious cider. Make sure to keep an eye out for when they're open. Coming here is definitely not to be missed!“
