“I wish I could give this winery 10 stars, it was absolutely the best stop of our day! We came in early in the day, so there wasn't many people there and we got the full attention of a very lovely lady who helped us with our tastings. She was so patient with our questions, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about sharing the morning with us. I loved that they grow most of their own grapes (becoming a rare thing with wineries now), and have some of the oldest vines in the area. We enjoyed a lovely picnic (we brought our food)on their lawn after buying a bottle of the chenin blanc and taking the vinyard walking tour. It was so interesting to see the various treatment of their different vinyard blocks, and the old twisted cherry trees were really cool to look at. They are a biodiverse winery, so the grounds were lovely and wild instead of traditional manicured rows.
We ended up spending more than 2 hours there and it was a blast. I would absolutely love to go back again someday!“
“Amazing and Comfortable Staff Thank You for the Experience“
“Also offers u pick cherries and they’re delicious! Not too expensive at $2.50 a lb with a 5 lb minimum but a little more expensive than the neighboring u picks. Probably because the quality is better and people end up eating a lot as they pick.
Absolutely worth the price for the experience!“
“Beautiful setting, wonderful people!!“
“great wine & absolutely excellent service BUT i would recommend turning up the music to cover the very very loud sound of that fridge. it was a very sterile loud vibe. we wanted to leave a lot sooner because it was just so loud and distracting but the server was wonderful“
“Beautiful place and great wine! Fun experience 👍🏻“
“We just dropped by after Eagle watch. The staff was so kind and friendly, she explained each of our tastings in such a personable and detailed way. Their wines are so delicious. We will definitely be back to visit again!Photograph by Yu-Min, Su (Instagram @charliesu_yms)“
“Tasty wine flights in a pleasant venue in White Salmon in the Columbia Gorge.“
“We brought family in from Texas who were visiting for the first time in 10+ years. They remembered The Pines and old vine zin from a decade ago and wanted to make sure they returned. Geoffrey made it a great experience for them.. loved everything they tasted. Some old vine Zin will make its way on Alaska airlines back to Texas!!“
“We came here for a break in our rail cart adventure. The pear sparkling wine was delightful a hit for both me and my husband which is rare! They had the most beautiful back area over looking the vineyard and I believe some of the orchards from the fruit co next door. Very clean staff was so helpful and very friendly!“
“Great selection of wines, absolutely beautiful interior and view of the river. My only disappointment was the Frozé. Tasted like a cheap slushy rather than an actual frozen Rosé drink that cost 16$. The packaging was great tho! Super cool idea.“
“Syncline Winery is a beautiful spot with a stunning garden and knowledgeable staff. Their red wines are exceptional, and we loved taking a bottle (or two) to enjoy on the beach during our camping trip. The tasting prices are a bit on the higher end, but it's well worth the visit for the experience and quality of wine.“

“Double Strand Winery is a gem! A lovely tasting room in the quaint town of Mosier serving thoughtfully produced wine that is deliciously complex without assumption. It was a pleasure meeting the Linda, Ed and Kevin, the winemaker. Stop by and meet them for yourself, you will no regret it.“
