“We love Garnier Vineyards! They have a beautiful view of the gorge, delicious wines, and are the loveliest people! We worked with them ahead of our visit as we were bringing 40 people there (a few wineries in the area turned us down due to the size of our party - Garnier said "no problem, thanks for lettings us know ahead of time so we can be properly staffed!"). Our host really leaned into explaining all the wines to us, including why growing in the Columbia Gorge was unique (most of our group was from out of town so super fun for them to learn!)It was such a special memory I'll cherish forever! Couldn't recommend Garnier more.“
“Amazing and Comfortable Staff Thank You for the Experience“
“We brought family in from Texas who were visiting for the first time in 10+ years. They remembered The Pines and old vine zin from a decade ago and wanted to make sure they returned. Geoffrey made it a great experience for them.. loved everything they tasted. Some old vine Zin will make its way on Alaska airlines back to Texas!!“
“Beautiful setting, wonderful people!!“
“We just dropped by after Eagle watch. The staff was so kind and friendly, she explained each of our tastings in such a personable and detailed way. Their wines are so delicious. We will definitely be back to visit again!Photograph by Yu-Min, Su (Instagram @charliesu_yms)“
“Upsidedown wines are incredibly pleasing to the palate. You can taste the hard work and passion that goes into the farming and production of their wine. I highly recommend this Tasting Room. In addition, the team is friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll be back!“
“Great facilities, excellent wine and they are very knowledgeable of the wine.“
“Syncline Winery is a beautiful spot with a stunning garden and knowledgeable staff. Their red wines are exceptional, and we loved taking a bottle (or two) to enjoy on the beach during our camping trip. The tasting prices are a bit on the higher end, but it's well worth the visit for the experience and quality of wine.“
“Tasty wine flights in a pleasant venue in White Salmon in the Columbia Gorge.“
“Valo is a gem, we enjoyed a flight of reds and whites and loved every single taste! The space is relaxed and inviting. It’s conveniently located right on highway 14 in Bingen but not far from Hood River and White Salmon. Michael is very knowledgeable and passionate about the wines. It’s definitely worth a stop and don’t forget to check out the Massalto wines too!“
“Their wine is fantastic, and we’ve enjoyed coming here for a long time. Make sure you call the day you want to come in - they were not open during regular hours on Saturday even after we called earlier in the week to plan our trip. That said, we love their wine - it’s consistently great, and the tasting room is cute and cozy.“
“My daughter and I inadvertently stepped in to a club members' tasting party. No problem. We were welcomed in with open arms as there were some open spots we could choose from. The staff catered to us with our own separate tastings, but yet we felt included in the party atmosphere. All the staff there were wonderful. Moe took the time to talk to us and have us try a bit of this or a bit of that. He made us feel special. It was especially appreciated because my daughter and I had just lost my husband/her father only two weeks before. Moe went above and beyond. We took home two bottles and will always remember how well we were treated here. The wines are excellent!“
“Great selection of wines, absolutely beautiful interior and view of the river. My only disappointment was the Frozé. Tasted like a cheap slushy rather than an actual frozen Rosé drink that cost 16$. The packaging was great tho! Super cool idea.“
“4 stars because the wine was delicious and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. What I didn’t appreciate was being made to feel unwelcome. I work in hospitality, so it was quite shocking (when we walked in at 4:10 and they close at 5pm) to zero greeting, yet they were quick to say “just so you know, last pour is at 4:30” Ok fine, I understand this. How about, engage with your guests and provide hospitality instead.
We ended up purchasing 2 glasses of wine and a bottle. At 4:50, a very rude woman came out to the patio reminding us that they are closing. She also reminded us that they would need to take our glasses. I was with my mom….we weren’t going to steal the glasses. Then she asked me twice if I paid my tab…when I said yes. No goodbye, or no thank you. Work on this….quite unfortunate.“

“Idiots Grace is a beautiful little winery hidden away in the Columbia Gorge on the eastern edge of Mosier, Oregon. My wife and I had the fortune of knowing someone who is a member of the Idiots Grace wine club and tagged along with them when they went to pickup a few bottles of wine. I'm a bit of a novice at wine tasting but I've never experienced anything like what's offered at Idiots Grace. We sat outside on a beautiful day in the shade while a wine steward brought us a sample of six wines ranging from white, rose to red. The steward described each wine in detail and mentioned a few other wines she thought we might like. Two of the wines I ended up buying (2020 Marssonne Roysanne & 2020 Dolcetta) came from grapes harvested after the 2020 Oregon wildfires which gave them a bit of a smokey flavor (which I loved). Idiots Grace is a hidden gem and I highly recommend giving it a try.“
