Syncline Winery Wineries • $$
111 Balch Rd, Lyle

“Syncline Winery is a beautiful spot with a stunning garden and knowledgeable staff. Their red wines are exceptional, and we loved taking a bottle (or two) to enjoy on the beach during our camping trip. The tasting prices are a bit on the higher end, but it's well worth the visit for the experience and quality of wine.“

Klickitat Canyon Winery Tasting Room and Farm Store Winery •
6 Lyle Snowden Rd, Lyle

“I am highly confused at these reviews? I got two bottles of wine from a farmers market and not to be dramatic but it was life changing. I absolutely love the European style wine they create and do not know if I can ever go back. The flavor was spectacular and overall the wine tasted lighter than what I usually drink. I bought the apricot and Riesling. I think the low star reviews are a bit silly because this wine is made to taste different and it does!“

“I wish I could give this winery 10 stars, it was absolutely the best stop of our day! We came in early in the day, so there wasn't many people there and we got the full attention of a very lovely lady who helped us with our tastings. She was so patient with our questions, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about sharing the morning with us. I loved that they grow most of their own grapes (becoming a rare thing with wineries now), and have some of the oldest vines in the area. We enjoyed a lovely picnic (we brought our food)on their lawn after buying a bottle of the chenin blanc and taking the vinyard walking tour. It was so interesting to see the various treatment of their different vinyard blocks, and the old twisted cherry trees were really cool to look at. They are a biodiverse winery, so the grounds were lovely and wild instead of traditional manicured rows.

We ended up spending more than 2 hours there and it was a blast. I would absolutely love to go back again someday!“

Garnier Vineyards Winery • $$
8467 US-30, Mosier

“Also offers u pick cherries and they’re delicious! Not too expensive at $2.50 a lb with a 5 lb minimum but a little more expensive than the neighboring u picks. Probably because the quality is better and people end up eating a lot as they pick.

Absolutely worth the price for the experience!“
