“Nachos were good and plenty for 2. They sell lots of beer and limited wine. No hard liquor. Views of mountain posted by previous persons were not realistic. They told us maybe in winter without leaves on trees. Good atmosphere inside and out. Good service and friendly staff.“

“Whatever you get, make sure you use their hot sauce. The hot sauce that they bring you in a squeeze bottle when they bring your food is one of the best things I've ever tasted in a Mexican restaurant. They can't even leave it at the tables anymore because people stole it. The guacamole and homemade chips is outstanding and I must if you have a table of three or more. I actually prefer the basic tacos over most of the fancy wax. I was not a fan of the Americano, Taco or whatever it was called. The fish taco was great but to be honest it was too much fish. The carnitas, the mushroom taco, and the blackened chicken are all outstanding. The dip that they make out of pumpkin seed is also really good. Overall, it's a super fun menu that has lots of fun and interesting dishes that you won't find in your typical taqueria or Mexican restaurant.“

“My wife took me here. The ramen was consistently good among all the dishes we tried, the pork belly and the chicken were really flavorful, the duck was a bit underwhelming for its price. The server tried to sit us next to other people when there was other spots available. She was nice beyond that. The atmosphere is a bit cramped but overall it’s a nice restaurant with plenty of options.“

“Pine Street Bakery ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 9/15/22, I stopped in Hood River, Oregon to check out Pine Street Bakery. Owner Megan Davis’s mother started Grand Central Bakery in Seattle, Washington in 1972. Today, there are 11 locations between Portland and Seattle. If you ever have an opportunity to visit a Grand Central Bakery/Café, I recommend it. I wanted to try one of their famous Cardamom Knots, which are Challah dough slathered in Vanilla Butter, covered in Cardamom Sugar and tied in a Knot. Unfortunately, they were out. I got a Carrot Cake cupcake ($5), which is one of their best sellers, as well as a Maddie Cake cupcake ($5). The Maddie Cake cupcake is a seasonal cupcake that changes with some regularity. The current Maddie Cake cupcake is Peaches & Cream. It is Vanilla cake filled with Peach compote made from local peaches, topped with a Vanilla Swiss Meringue Butter cream frosting. I enjoyed both cupcakes but my favorite of the two was the Maddie Cupcake because it was so unique. There was a generous amount of peach compote in the center of the cupcake, as well as on top. The compote had great flavor. Both cupcakes were fairly dense but moist. In addition to the baked goods and breads, Pine Street Bakery has Breakfast, Lunch, and Coffee menus, as well as specials. They also sell a lot of other products and fresh flowers. Highly Recommended!!!“

“We were so fortunate to find this unique Cafe with one of the most eclectic and carefully curated menus. The tacos, enchiladas and quesedillas were just the right portions and we could taste the freshness of their ingredients. The crush puppies were a star as were the cider flights. What stuck with us though was how friendly, personable and genuinely kind the staff was. They made it an incredible experience. It was the most grounded and relaxing eating experience we could have imagined. Keep shining and we will certainly be back when we can!“

“On our way back to Pendleton from Portland, we stopped to charge our car. Then walked over to Solstice Wood Fire Pizza for dinner. We decided to order the BLBB pizza, a hot Kenyan Grey tea, and a huckleberry organic lemonade. Our server Brad N did an awesome job making our dining experience a real treat.“

“This is our family’s favorite winery in all of Oregon and Washington. Woman owned, progressive, queer and trans supportive, earthy. We visit in all seasons and are always comfortable. Amazing view. Great blankets if you’re sitting outside or cozy up around there for pit. Inside is cozy and artful. The wind is amazing and their tapas are paired well and also very good! The winemakers are often serving and full of great stories about the process.“
“Great place to meet up with family & friends, delicious food & drinks“
“I have not had a beer here (yet) but the little bar downstairs is the best in town as far as I am concerned. It is such an intimate environment and the bartender is so welcoming and knowledgeable. The zero proof cocktails are as well thought out and delicious as the regular menu. If you're in HR and the place is open, do yourself a favor.“

“My mom and I stopped by this place on our way south past Mt. Hood. We bought some strawberries, some sparkling apple cider, and a couple fresh strawberry shakes. Those were so good that we went out of our way to go back on our way home and get some more shakes along with some more strawberries and some blueberries and cherries, along with a huckleberry pie. None of it disappointed. The staff is absolutely incredible. Do not pass this place by if you're in the area and have time. You will not be disappointed.“

“Some of the best authentic Mexican food in the area. I’ve always had great service coming here and my food always comes out pretty fast! I come here regularly and definitely recommend giving it a try if this is something that you’re looking for!“
“Anne was an incredibly knowledgeable server! She was a real delight. We loved our wine flights and ended up leaving with a handful of bottles. The rosé in particular was spectacular but literally ~everything~ was a delight. A truly relaxing afternoon was spent at Idiots Grace! Will definitely be returning some time in the future.“
“We love this place, we have been staying here for over 20yrs. Just recently stayed there in December but unfortunately there was a ice storm. We still enjoyed our stay and the staff as always was AWESOME. We are heading down this weekend for our 37yr anniversary so looking forward to it.“

The entire crew is the best ever. The owners are also extremely nice. By far the best DB crew I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.“

“Nice spot. Parking can run hot and cold. Excellent shop, well taken care of. Slim on staffing, adequate to the task. Fewer food offerings than some other places, but nothing to knock them on. It was all excellent. Family friendly. Plenty of 4 tops can easily be 6, or taller tables for couples.“
“I highly recommend Marchesi Vineyards! Their wine was exquisite, great service, amazing views and ambiance. I felt like i was in Italy!“

“pFriem takes the Family part of their name seriously! The kids meal Mac and cheese was the best my daughter has tried and I loved that the men’s restroom included a changing table with a cubby full of spare diapers, wipes, and sanitizing supplies.
And for the 21+ crowd, their Japanese Lager is possibly the most refreshing beer to enjoy on a sunny day.“
“What a rad little shop! Nice collection of taps and bottles/cans. Amanda and Ika were a treat to hang out with. Will definitely be back.“

“This amazing little truck specializes in Quesabirria! The tacos, the loaded fries and the Quesabarria grilled cheese sandwich!...😱😍ohh and the consome!! 🤌💥Been looking for some good birria and this might be the best in the gorge! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“The perfect coffee shop! The barista is super friendly and helpful! The hand-crafted drinks taste like they are made with care, not just churned out of an assembly line. The breakfast burritos are fresh and delicious. The outdoor seating is lovely, but if you are in a hurry, it's easy to get in and out fast. Prices are very reasonable. Great place!“

“Also offers u pick cherries and they’re delicious! Not too expensive at $2.50 a lb with a 5 lb minimum but a little more expensive than the neighboring u picks. Probably because the quality is better and people end up eating a lot as they pick.
Absolutely worth the price for the experience!“
“Great selection of wines, absolutely beautiful interior and view of the river. My only disappointment was the Frozé. Tasted like a cheap slushy rather than an actual frozen Rosé drink that cost 16$. The packaging was great tho! Super cool idea.“
“Our last winery tour on this vacation trip. We split a tasting and enjoyed the lighter reds. We enjoyed the views while doing the tasting on the patio! We went in and talked with the staff and then they let us taste another bolder red and we bought a bottle to enjoy on our last evening before we flew out! What a highlight of the trip!“

“Just reviewing onion rings, and these are delicious and tied with the 2nd best I've had (which includes all of the reddit recommended spots in Portland).
Cute tiny little countryside dinner with a drive-through and a comparatively big parking lot.
Almost no wait time while I was there in the late afternoon, but signage says most of their orders are online so wait times could be long.
Service was nice and felt normal for a small place with constant traffic.“

“Best food in Hood River! And right up there with the top restaurants in Portland, as well. Tasty seafood options, steaks, pasta. Good variety, focusing on quality over quantity. Beautiful presentation. Desserts are top notch and in appropriate proportions. Having been here many times over the years, we drove an hour from Portland just for dinner on a beautiful day. The views from the deck are wonderful!“
