“We were so fortunate to find this unique Cafe with one of the most eclectic and carefully curated menus. The tacos, enchiladas and quesedillas were just the right portions and we could taste the freshness of their ingredients. The crush puppies were a star as were the cider flights. What stuck with us though was how friendly, personable and genuinely kind the staff was. They made it an incredible experience. It was the most grounded and relaxing eating experience we could have imagined. Keep shining and we will certainly be back when we can!“

“On our way back to Pendleton from Portland, we stopped to charge our car. Then walked over to Solstice Wood Fire Pizza for dinner. We decided to order the BLBB pizza, a hot Kenyan Grey tea, and a huckleberry organic lemonade. Our server Brad N did an awesome job making our dining experience a real treat.“

“Even without trying the wine, this winery restaurant was a big win. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and every dish we ordered was good. The truffle chocolate was a highlight: rich, smooth, and the perfect way to end the meal. The setting is lovely and relaxing, with a warm, upscale feel that's great for a date or a special outing. Service was attentive and friendly. We skipped the wine this time, but we'll be back to try it. Easy 5 out of 5.“

“We were on our way home to LaGrande. Not sure if it was worth a ten mile trip off of 84 for a dinner stop. It is fabulous and now I wish I lived so much closer. Will definitely make the trip again!“

“We love this place, we have been staying here for over 20yrs. Just recently stayed there in December but unfortunately there was a ice storm. We still enjoyed our stay and the staff as always was AWESOME. We are heading down this weekend for our 37yr anniversary so looking forward to it.“

“First time at the tasting room and I was thoroughly impressed. Very nice place with a chill atmosphere. Have a seat in an old bank vault if you like. Arrived with a group of four and we were seated quickly. The bar tender and staff were very accommodating. Order a flight of tasters or a mini cocktail. Quite a large menu of cocktails and tasters to choose from. Plenty of swag and bottles to purchase. I had a sniffer of ULLR, Sinfire and rum. The pear brandy cocktail was excellent.“

“Been coming here for years during commutes through the Gorge and it has been consistently awesome. The New Yorker and Cascade Lox bagels are fresh and the bagels are the perfect size. They’re soft with a crispy exterior and you can actually eat it without it falling apart. Favorite bagel spot ever.“

“What a great little dive bar/cafe in the middle of downtown Hood River. This is an old establishment so it looks a little rough. We had their specialty fish and chips which was very tasty, or was I really hungry after of day of hiking and sightseeing around Mt Hood? Washed it down with a Rainier beer (Walt Longmire's favorite)! Bartender/waitress was very attentive to our needs. All in all, it was a good experience.“

“We have never eaten here before, but we had some time to kill. We decided to have a sandwich while we were waiting on the CAT bus, for our ride back to Cascade Locks. The food was good and the service was great. Next time we plan to try the pizza.“

“My family son, daughter,in laws, out laws have been going here for over 50 years. The best Pizza ever. They use to have more locations even a takeout on S.E. Woodstock and it was great as well. We Wish Pietro’s the best with many good years. Did I mention we love Pietro’s ? Lewis family.“

“I ordered the Thai Chicken. They will ask you what level of heat you want. I get Thai hot, I'm not real sensitive to spicy food. It was delicious and comes with brown rice, decent portions and pair it with Thai tea and you'll have a delicious meal. I would highly recommend this place.“
