Cajun Restaurants near Des Moines, WA

“Went there to support my friends band that was playing there. I ordered a Jamison Manhattan. It was one of the skimpiest pours I've seen but that wasn't an issue. When I asked the price $28!!! That's twice the price of the Space Needle let alone a Des Moines dive bar.

Edit: Heard from one of the band members that the insane prices had been adjusted. I made a return visit and the prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was quaint and comfortable and the music was great. I plan to return.“

“First visit to Jude's. I love it when you meet long-time staff who know the history of a place - Jada was our bartender - hope I spelled it correctly! She knew her cocktails too! If you read up on the background of this place, wanting to be your neighborhood joint, great food and drinks and ambience, then I think they are there. We had the mushroom etouffee with Cajun prawns, fried chicken sandwich, apple salad, and the beignets! I'm sure it is a personal preference, but I thought the beignets were better than at Toulouse Petit. Can't wait to try brunch!!“

“Best seafood boil that I've tried in the US. The mixed sauce (medium) is sooooo good, plus the seafood is fresh and consistent of high quality. I had the shrimps and the mussels, they are very fresh and full of flavor. I'll definitely come again for more. There's free parking too.“

“I’ve only been there once and I must say, it was perfect. Any place that is as fancy as happy crab Charge an arm and a leg but the prices for the food was amazing. Everyone in there was super friendly. I will be going there again, even though it’s far from my apartment. I hope they make one in downtown Seattle, I would go there all the time.“

We had soft shell crab and the most garlicy garlic shrimp you have ever had. The value for money was brilliant too. “We had Jenny as our server and she was near perfect. Great menu suggestions, timely, not pushy and yet attentive. Four of us all ordered differently and shared... the food was prepared well and quite tasty. We all would highly recommend Crawfish House Renton. Oh, and they allowed us to bring in our well trained Labrador instead of having to leave her in a sun heated car. Very accommodating.“
