“Amazing place for being in the middle of nowhere. Everything seems to be homemade. And was awesome! I had the salmon fettuccine. The salmon was cooked so well, flaky but also had grill Mark's that those little bits tasted so good! The fettuccine sauce was so smooth and tasty! The boy got the Train Wreck burger, it was a messy sammich but he said it was excellent! I know he didn't leave any of it. His fries were good too, I had one. Not quite a steak fry but again, looks like they slice up the potato there. Huckleberry lemonade. I thought huckleberry was just a cartoon fruit. It makes a great lemonade. We finished with home made desserts, the boy got apple pie, I got the lemon poppyseed cake. With ice cream. Don't bother with the ice cream, unless you just like some of the best vanilla ice cream I've ever tasted. My cake was moist, and for once the lemon wasn't overpowering like at most restaurants. The boy got the apple pie, and I even got a bite. The apple wasn't too crisp like it wasn't cooked enough, or too mush like it had been overcooked. Cool little dining car set-up in the place, BUT, be patient. They don't have a lot of staff, but it is so worth it. We were really taken care of very well.“
