The China Pearl restaurant was given a poor review by our innkeepers. We thought we would try it anyway and were they wrong. \n\nThe food was good and they serve Japanese, Chinese, and Korean dishes. We had vegetable chow mein with tofu and szechuan tofu. They make their own noodles. Both dishes were flavorful. The portion sizes were good for two meals. I didn’t get what I ordered… got it to go and left on a boat without checking the bag vs what I paid for and damn is that a disappointment…

If you’re looking for an Asian restaurant with a variety of options like Chinese, Japanese, Sushi, and Teriyaki, this spot offers a decent range of choices. We stopped in hoping to grab a quick meal before catching the ferry back to the mainland, especially since we’ve visited the San Juan Islands several times and hadn’t tried Asian cuisine here before.
