Yo Friday Harbor Espresso & Sweets

Excellent ice cream!! Spent a few days in Friday Harbor with my family and we all enjoyed getting ice cream here. We had just come off a sea kayaking trip and our guide Hannah said this was the best ice cream place on the island. Plenty of flavors to choose from and a great gift shop as well. I tried the cucumber lime sorbet and it was soooo refreshing. Would definitely come back here next time I get up to the San Juan Islands!

Got a strawberry popping boba, it was AMAZING! The ice cream was very good too, would recommend. UPDATE: I came back when it reopened for the summer and it’s still top notch 👌

OMG! So just a quick thing about me. I LOVE ice cream. I mean love…I am the most toughest critic when it comes to ice cream. This place…OMG! Hands down best ice cream I’ve had in a looonnngg time. The flavors, the texture, and the quality hands down killed it. Who ever is the owner, mastered the recipe of ice cream. We got the flight of 7 flavors, (cherry amaretto, blackberry lavendar, coffee and cookies, matcha almond, praline pecan, and peanut butter cup) and it was A M A Z I N G! If you love ice cream or just want to grab a sweet treat, you have to come here. Sooo goood!

One scoop was more than enough for me—it was a generous portion! 🤩 Rich, flavorful, and creamy. I loved it.

I had been looking forward to trying a drink from Friday Harbor Espresso & Sweets for two days, so I was really disappointed with my visit. I ordered the classic milk boba tea, but it didn't meet expectations at all. The drink tasted watered down and completely lack the richness of milk that a classic boba should have. I was hoping for a much better experience given how much I been anticipating this.

Went in for ice cream and asked if we could have a sample and they told us curtly that they had no spoons! What ….no sample spoons! We purchased anyway but I cannot give a good review because of the staff!

A cute little tucked away shop. We were searching for somewhere to get ice cream as the main shop by the ferry terminal only accepts cash. They have a large selection of ice cream and gelato flavors and the staff were very friendly. The lavender vanilla was delicious and I will come back here again for any future sweet treat needs.

If you are going for ice cream on the island this is the place to get it from. Their chocolate licorice was a bit more licorice-ish for my taste but mixed with their latte chip it was the perfect combo!

Totally worth it to get one on a hot day or after a nice meal.

My wife and I both had double scoop cups (so 4 different flavors). Their ice cream was fantastic. Some of the best ice cream we’ve ever had!
