my husband and I will go there about few times a year. this was my father in laws favorite place to eat every Wednesday with his brother for many yrs.
Yesterday(July 21st) we ate there at approximately 7pm. very nice waiter we had. my husband ordered a Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. he indicated that that meat was very tough and rubbery. I tasted it and totally agreed with him.
but that won't stop us from going there again.

Sunset Grill is a long-standing, affordable spot for a good sit-down meal, popular with locals and visitors alike. The friendly service and old-fashioned courtesy enhance the charm of the place. There are spacious and comfy booths in the large main dining room, and a welcoming bar at the back where friendly bartenders encourage conversation with strangers. The food is very good and prepared well, with highlights including the delicious meatball sandwich and the country fried steak dinner, which is deserving of an all-American cuisine restaurant. The menu offers a lot of variety, more than what is usually seen online. For dessert, they have fresh homemade pie, including great pumpkin and razzleberry. Sunday mornings after church can be packed, but otherwise, there is easy parking and seating. Overall, it is a great experience worth recommending and returning to.
