“We had dinner there over the weekend (during Lakewood Summer Fest) and had a great experience. From the time we walked in and was greeted by a friendly hostess, we knew it was going to be a good time. We were ushered to our table and received great service. Our party consisted of 2 adults and 2 children. The food was great and the portions were big, I loved the green salsa.. I like the new location and the decor. It had an updated and more stylish vibe compared to their previous location. Overall, I give it a 20/10. Can’t wait to visit this place again.

Dietary restrictions: I think the menu offered a lot of choices for those with dietary restrictions; but on the kids menu, I suggest adding chicken nuggets and apple juice.

Parking: Plenty of parking, easy to access the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: Although they have a kids menu, my grandson has a dairy allergy, I recommend offering chicken nuggets as a choice.
Other than that, the wait staff were pleasant to both of my grandchildren. It was nice that they had crayons and a fun kids menu.“

“I’ve tried so many Mexican restaurants and this one was amazing!! We got the diced chicken gorditos and they were perfect with seasoned pico that made it even better! The birria tacos with dipping sauce was amazing and the carne asada plate had so much flavor with the beef really tender! Highly recommend!! Will be going back to try more things!“

“The best roast lamb consommé & Barbicoa in Tacoma area and Oaxacan style tamales wrapped in banana leaves with delicate masa dough & can choose chicken & mole, the real deal & so moist unlike others I have had in corn husks . The cafe is rustic & only open 3/4 days a week & often has hand lettered sign, feel like I am in Oaxaca eating the large lamb broth consommé with garbanzos & vegetables & lamb barbicoa cooked in a brick lined pit with banana leaves— & the homemade flan, oh my! Family operated, Louis & Ruth & a sister in law cooks the flan in her home & you are lucky if any is left by noon on weekends. Did I mention the homemade Mexican hot chocolate made in the chocolate pitcher. & wooden tool like in Oaxaca? And the fruit Frescas made in the summer— watermelon! I am ordering dozen Tamales for pickup Christmas Eve & a large 10 inch Flan & serving homemade salad with arugula & sliced apple with walnuts & blue cheese & a light dressing of olive oil & Dijon mustard & lemon.“

My family LOVES the Crazy Tacos taco bus. We always order five carne asada street tacos and five chicken tacos and for the low price of $22 with fast service, you really can’t beat it. Stop by here next time you’re passing through!

It is delicious, large, and well-priced. There are 2 chicken quarters seared with seasoning to perfection! The skin is to die for. It also comes with race and beans and a perfectly roasted jalapeño! Oh! And a side of tortillas and soda! I get the corn tortillas and my husband gets flour. In addition, there is an amazing fresh sauce bar with Pico de Gallo and also sliced radishes. Literally, this is such a great special. I wish they had this restaurant on the east side of the state. I love that it is simple and you just order at the counter and then they bring it to your table quite quickly. The service is super friendly. We have been to this site once and Puyallup twice. “You Should Go Here for a Really Good Big Burrito! 👍🌯 🔥🌶 ...i take that back Last time was the best had in years to the exact opposite this time and i ordered the same exact thing I came back tonight and realized its a hit a miss thing there and very inconsistent this time it was extremely sloppy fell apart pouring into my lap thankfully the bag was there to catch it and i looked inside it was mostly all salsa corn and lettuce and almost zero chicken with little black beans and rice or cheese plus it had no sour cream and there was so much salsa dripping all over i couldnt let go once i started without it falling apart completely it was way way too spicy i was sweating and i cant have it that hot i couldn't barely eat it i didn't order a salad with salsa i ordered a burrito and it was so now i am still hungry and left unsatisfied because it didnt have the flavor i craved at all and didnt get what i orded and it was a waist of money.
