“Both the hotel and the restaurant were great! We just needed a nice comfortable basic room for a night and they had it! Easy reservation, check in and out all from the phone. And the pub was great! Fish and chips were ON POINT and tuna melt and fish tacos were all really good. Service was excellent. Vibe was super chill compared to Long Beach/Astoria and a great views of all the action at the Harbor, and the sports on the tv inside! Nailed it. Definitely coming back thanks Salt!”

“When my father and I visited, the wonderful lady behind the counter on Weds night was absolutely cranking away. It was packed, she was hustling, and the environment, food, and overlal atmosphere was amazing. I am a pizza fanatic and I'd drive out to Ilwaco just to visit this spot again.”

“This is the very best paninni meal that I have ever had! I grew up in an "upscale" tourism area. The towns there had new gourmet restaurants and eateries open every week. They usually closed down equally quickly. Evidently we residents were not overly impressed by number of stars or famous names. If V's Coastal Cafe were somehow magically transported to Monterey Peninsula/Carmel, they would be the most popular place on that peninsula. I cannot possibly describe everything about V's Corner Cafe other than to say "perfection". Whether you are a local or a visitor, it is a destination you do not want to miss. The place is amazing, as are the owners.”

“Chinook Coffee CO is our go to on the Peninsula. Best Customer Service! Especially with the historic Valorie. But it starts with the ownership. Today she not only created over the top yummy Kona Mocha drinks but helped us out in a jam. We were on our way to a surgical post op appointment in Longview when our battery died at the window. She called her husband he immediately came with jumpers and revived the battery. She spoiled us with fresh warm crispy crumbles from her fresh baked yummy cookies. We made it to Longview, to my appointment and got a new car battery. Now that is customer service!”

“Saw their ad in the Neptune theater the night before. When we went walking around the next day of our staycation, looking for breakfast, we came across the creperie, tucked away in the back like a hidden gem. I had the Monte Cristo and my wife had the Jumping Jack Bbq Chicken. We both got jalapeños for just a touch of kick, no spice, just more added flavor.

The owner recommended we sit on the roof of the Sandbar restaurant where, a really nice dining area was set up, with plenty of seating. It has wind breaks for a breezy day as well but, we took advantage of the beautiful sun and no wind, a real treat for February! On days where the weather isn't cooperating as much, you can sit inside the Sandbar resturant for a more traditional setting.

Both of our crepes were delicious, and full of wonderful flavor! The crepes come in a pizza pocket style holder, and it is recommended to leave it in that, as it is loaded with ingredients and may fall apart without it, or the other option would be a knife and fork, which someone like my wife would prefer. I'm more of a hands on guy, but to each their own.

The food was delicious and the owner was very nice, we will be back to try different flavors or, enjoy our new favorites.”

“As a Taiwanese, I can attest this food is super authentic and delicious! We stumbled upon this gem on a recent trip to Long Beach and are so glad we did. We had to come twice! The owner is so sweet and welcoming and it’s literally like going to an aunties’ house for a homemade meal. They also have vegetarian/vegan options and gluten-free sticky buns. Their soup dumplings and soups are also super tasty! If we lived closer, I’d probably come here every week, but sadly, we’ll have to just get our fix when we are back in town.”

“Who are you, Patty, you fish taco magician! Now although I'm partial to cake and pastries, I enjoy a damn fine fish taco from time to time. I had been in Westport the day before scouring the fish tacos scene and it proved to be evasive. But then I found myself walking to the Lighthouse near Bells with hunger pangs and the fish tacos crept back into my mind. I must have them, I thought to myself. So I checked my phone to see if I had service and pulled up google maps and I found Patty's. It was around 11 so I had some time before they opened. I decided to head that way after reading the google reviews. I was a bit shocked to see 20 bucks for two tacos but they were the best damn fish tacos I've ever had and here's the thing, I don't even enjoy most seafood! But I didn't have to spend 20 bucks but I decided to. It's a mostly seasonal tourist spot that probably hurts a bit in the winter. Gotta offset that down time with a higher price, it is what it is. I will be back to this area sooner than later and Patty's is a huge reason for that. Oh and the incredible sceney!”

“I just swooped in because I saw the sign. The building looks small, yet its huge inside with plenty of seating. A meal is approx $15 and whoa is this food delicious!! Highly recommend. The staff was very friendly, the vine was great and I love the photos on the wall”

“Lovely people making great food. It was cold and windy when I visited and the owner said I could go ahead and wait in my car and he would bring me my food - so sweet! I got a carnitas super burrito and it was delicious! their tomatillo salsa and regular salsa are both fantastic.”

“Hello! my friends and I were visiting Astoria for a week when we came across this Goldmine of a Bar and Restaurant! The first day we came we had the BEST Bartender we've ever had! Not only is her service impeccable but her sense of humor and friendliness is just outright contagious! Kelly is her name and I give her 10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 out of 5!!! Now the second time we came we had to try the Prime Rib. Best decision EVER and we found out that Kelly is also the cook so we knew we were in for a treat and boy howdy it did not disappoint! Excellent flavor, cooked perfectly an overall experience I tell you what. We will definitely be back and I hope Miss Kelly NEVER goes anywhere! Go check this place out if you're ever in the Astoria area!!!”

“Restaurant hours posted on building and Webb site state open till 8pm. However tonight we arrived at 7:15 and were told we could only order take out. This has not been the policy in the past. This acting cashier/manager said this is how HE does things. 10 customers came immediately after after us and left. We did order take out but were very disappointed in new policy and advised to advertise the change. Not good business.”

“This place has always been a favorite of ours to frequent when we are in Long Beach. The staff and owners are always welcoming and always treat us like family. I enjoy the beer, atmosphere and the consistent great service we always get at North Jetty! Can’t wait for my next pint!”
