“The bubble tea here is fantastic, especially their fresh milk options made with real tea – they’re consistently the best in the area, in my opinion. I’d also highly recommend their snacks; the popcorn chicken and small bentos are delicious.“

“Very, very, very expensive. We seem to be innured in Seattle to unbelievably high prices... Starbucks has made us accept that paying $5-8 for coffee is normal. More power to them and not a great reflection on consumers who are shelling this out. Anyway, back to L'Experience. Coffee was $5, and the pastry was $15. When I saw $22 on the register I thought I was dreaming. Nope... it was that expensive. I got something that looked like éclair, but wasn't. It was very good, but $15... I just got back from Brussels and had very good pastry and it's definitely wasn't that expensive. I understand that we have very high minimum wage, that the rent in Issaquah is very high, that the baker's labor is hard. Still, the little place in the hills of Issaquah, with the generic decor haven't prepared me for the shock of the final bill.“

“Of the many places around to get coffee, this is my favorite. Excellent quality drinks (GREAT coffee and craft espresso drinks, as well as Italian sodas and even a few smoothies). Everyone is incredibly friendly and quick. Love it every time I’m there.

Dietary restrictions: Delicious gluten-free options, including fresh baked muffins (you’d never know they’re gluten free) and loaded breakfast bowls.“

“If you’re looking for a slice of Seattle’s big-city vibe without venturing into the city, this café-restaurant is an absolute gem nestled right in Newcastle. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by an upbeat yet relaxed atmosphere with music thoughtfully selected by the staff, making you feel like you've stepped into a cool urban café. It’s clear the team has put a lot of heart into the upscale and welcoming ambiance.

The staff here are incredibly warm and welcoming; they go above and beyond to make every visit feel special. Annie, Bella, and Mikaila, in particular, always ensure our experience is fantastic. Their hospitality is next level, so much so that even my 4-year-old daughter loves coming here with me – she’s treated like a little VIP every time! They’ve created an environment that feels comfortable and inviting for everyone, whether you’re a regular or a first-time guest.

As for the food, the menu is as eclectic as it is delicious. There’s something for everyone, and you can tell each dish is crafted with care. The coffee is out of this world – rich, smooth, and full of flavor – easily one of the best around. And if you’re here for dinner, don’t miss the cocktails! They’re perfectly mixed, with unique flavors that match the spirit of the place.

This is not your typical suburban café, nor is it part of the usual chain-restaurant crowd. Every visit here is an experience, and you can really feel the love that goes into it. It’s a true hidden gem, standing out proudly among the standard options. Highly recommend checking it out for a taste of the city vibe right in the heart of the suburbs!“

“Visited for first time, August 29 2024. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Ordered the fruity French toast. 3 big thick slices of bread, with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream The bread only had egg wash on one side, as if they poured the egg on the flattop and set the bread on it, As these were thick slices, the rest of it was just dry bread. Not what we expected. We thought it would be dipped and covered in egg. The silverware is the basic stamped out cafeteria style utensils and takes away from the overall experience of this otherwise homey ambience.“
