“As someone who has low spice tolerance the spicy food were not very good but my parents thought they tasted good. The duck was okay but not my personal favorite. I really liked the sweet and sour pork though. I strongly suggest the sweet and sour pork for people with a low spice tolerance and likes tomatoes (kinda taste like tomatoes)“

“I really love this Szechuan restaurant! I’m not someone who can usually handle very spicy food, but here I can always find dishes with just the right level of heat. They recently introduced some new items on the menu, and I absolutely enjoyed them — so flavorful! The atmosphere is great and the service is friendly. I’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends!“

“I recently visited here on a local friend’s recommendation, and it was a surprisingly delightful experience.
The star of the show was undoubtedly the Sichuan Peppercorn Stone Pot Fish. I was initially worried about the fish having a lot of bones, but it was perfectly prepared, with no small bones at all. This allowed me to fully savor the authentic flavors of the soup—the fragrant, numbing spice of the peppercorns—without having to worry about picking out bones. It was a fantastic dining experience from start to finish.
Beyond the signature dish, the Mapo Tofu also left a deep impression. The intense aroma and spicy kick were incredibly satisfying and made it an excellent pairing with a bowl of rice. The Spicy Fried Pork Intestine was another unexpected highlight. The pork intestine was perfectly fried to a crispy texture, which added a wonderful layer of crunch without any greasiness. The flavors of all the dishes were truly top-notch.
The only minor letdown was the large table, which didn't have a lazy Susan, so we had to frequently switch dishes to let everyone try everything. I would highly recommend the restaurant consider adding a traditional Chinese round table with a lazy Susan to make the dining experience even more perfect.
Overall, every dish at La Po Po was flawless, from the preparation to the flavors. It's a restaurant I would definitely visit again and highly recommend to anyone who loves spicy food.“

“Have been coming for my Chinese fix here for the past few years and grabbed dinner here last night.
Went for my usual fried rice, cumin lamb, and fried chicken. Tried the Ravioli Soup for the first time, and it was nice.
Lamb was so nicely cooked, we took Feid chicken to go, and it was not that great. Maybe it would have been better right off of the pan!
Service and food come fast.“

“If you can deal with the wait, then this is the place to go for Chinese food. We've been long time customers here. We've ordered many different dishes here and we really liked them all. However, if you come during busy time, then you may need to order then go shop around until the time. We really like the lady server here even we don't speak the language. We don't feel being discriminated at all - it's all up to the way you treat people. The food was plentiful and we usually have to eat two or three meals to finish.“

“Yang’s Kitchen never disappoints! The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions that leave you satisfied but still excited to come back. As someone who loves trying new dishes, I really appreciate how their menu gets updated at just the right pace—there’s always something fresh to discover.
My recent favorites are the 凉拌马兰头 (Cold Tossed Indian Aster)—light, fragrant, and perfectly seasoned—and the 东北锅包肉 (Northeastern Sweet & Sour Pork), which is crispy, tangy, and so addictive. And of course, my all-time favorite remains their stir-fried vegetables and noodles—simple yet packed with flavor.
Plus, they now offer dim sum in the early hours, which makes it the perfect spot for a weekend morning treat. This place balances consistency with creativity so well. Highly recommend!“

“Very authentic and flavorful chinese cuisine. Helpful bilingual waiters proactively offered discounts and cash to make up for their perceived “bad service”, though in truth the only problem with the service was they sometimes took a while to bring the food during busy stretches. Would get again, nice vibes for late night dinner with a chinese friend.“

“We eat a plant based diet and all their dishes are available with tofu instead of meat. We enjoyed it all. We will be going back.“
