“I totally forgot to take food photos because I was so excited to catch up with friends, but everything here was fantastic! The drinks and dishes were all unique and flavorful. As a farm-to-table restaurant, their vegetables and meats tasted incredibly fresh. I usually don’t order cocktails, but I loved their gin & tonic—perfect balance of bitterness, sweetness, and aroma. The old fashioned was also great with very rich whiskey flavor. The space is kid- and dog-friendly, and there’s plenty of parking. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu!”

“They’re closing their doors tonight after 45 years . I’ve been going their for 42 years . My parents loved the food there . Fabulous food and I’m sad to see them go .”

“This place is really yummy. Haven't been there in a while. Just showed up in my Google timeline. I need to stop back in there again. Affordable prices. They're pretty quick. Lots of Mexicans go there so that's usually a pretty good sign the food is good. No frills. Just really yummy food 👍🏻”

“My wife and I love this place. They have the best and most authentic acai bowls in the Seattle area. Both owners are from Brazil and one of them is from the region acai comes from, so he has the best understanding of the way it should taste and the best quality of acai. We highly recommend the acai bowls and also the mini coquinas with the green sauce.”

“I don't recommend eating here. A coworker and myself tried the bahn mi and spring rolls one day and they were some of the worst I have eaten; ended up just tossing half my order. My wife tried the pho a day earlier and said it was not that good either. I do have an acquaintance that works close by and eats here often. he agress the bahn mi, spring rolls and pho are not good, but says the rice and noodles dishes are ok.”

“I had Pad Kee Mao for lunch today. I arrived early right after they opened at 11am. The restaurant was clean and the waitress was very friendly. Their plants in the restaurant are pretty well taken care of which add a touch of relaxation. The food was really good. The beef was pretty tender. Will come again with friends.”

“This is a classic American pub — simple, no frills, but full of character. The atmosphere is basic yet authentic: you come here to enjoy yourself, not to impress. The burgers are really tasty, juicy, and well made. The staff is friendly, fast, and down-to-earth, making you feel welcome right away. It's the perfect spot for a laid-back night out with friends, maybe a round of pool and a cold beer in hand.

“The beer tenders are great and I love the trivia on Tuesdays. beer it's good. But, I miss some of the Cairn classics. Wish they would bring them back. Seaplane in particular. Parking is awful. they used to open up the patio area for parking during the winter. postdoc has not done this despite the fact that nobody wants a beer outside when it's raining or snowing. great place though to hang out. kid and dog friendly. Their membership program is pretty awesome too!!!!”

“Some of the best times with friends I’ve had at Tabs playing corn hole in the backyard. Or maybe singing karaoke, and laughing. Or maybe just grabbing a bite from their great menu, and catching up with friends. It’s a great place for an after work unwind, or watching your favorite sports team. (Go Hawks!) 💥”

“I had a fantastic experience at this sushi restaurant! Sushi Combo B was perfect - fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The wait time was impressively low, making the dining experience even better. The atmosphere is really nice, with a relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Definitely coming back!”

“I was at The Lodge for an afternoon reception and wedding, and Father Mulligan's has an extremely convenient happy hour from 2-5PM on Friday and Saturday. Suffice it to say, we stopped by to down a drink or two before the festivities.

The bartenders were very friendly and the cocktail of the day was a fruity vodka/cranberry/grapefruit cocktail topped with a fruity sour. It was very drinkable and our orders came out quickly.

Their wine list also has some unique gems on it, definitely worth a look.

Overall, can't complain about the service and the cocktails were well received for a reasonable price considering the exclusive location.”

“Classic greater-Seattle area teriyaki place.
The portion size is on par with most places roughly three thighs two mounds of rice and a little iceberg lettuce salad.
The chicken was very lightly marinated, but fresh and chargrilled to a perfect juiciness.
A light sauce that hits the salty sweet balance of a teriyaki sauce, not thick or gloppy.
The gyoza are crisp and filled adequately no surprises there.
The menu is simple in comparison to most teriyaki places that have a wide range of other Asian fare, this was more straightforward.
Overall, a solid teriyaki joint and worth checking out.”

“Been frequenting this little gem since working a cpl days a week in Kenmore and just love it. The staff is friendly, very experienced and fast. I waited out 6 other cars this morning and was served in less than 5 mins and got a "thank you for waiting". Speed+accuracy+professional and personable attitudes make for the perfect "go to" coffee place :) I'll never understand why people sit for 20 mins in a Starbucks line when there's places like this, around.”

“I wish they had more non-coffee options and more food items, but a solid coffee shop. The location is ideal for gathering with friends or studying alone. The tea is from a small independent company and is quite delicious, unlike many other coffee places using Tazo tea or other common store-bought brands.

I would definitely recommend this place if you were looking for a third space in Kenmore.”

“There are many locations around Seattle and most are charming; this is my favorite one. Pickup, dine-in or delivery; pies or slices - always hot and delicious. Staff is super nice and the overall vibe is great.

Tip: Try to get a seat where you can look at the lake”

“Headed down during a blue grass jam session, place was packed. It was freezing cold outside so I had a Hot Toddy and it was absolutely perfect. Great vibe, great people. Lots of families. I did not eat anything, but next time I will check out their food. I heard they have a farm to table restaurant moving in which would be awesome! If I had my choice, I would have Carolina Smoke BBQ come in and make it the blues capital of the eastside, but let's see what they come up with. HIGHLY recommended.”

“Celebrated my wife's birthday with family. We chose the tasting menu with wine pairings and were absolutely delighted. We really appreciated the chef coming out to introduce each course and our server described the wines perfectly. Everyone came away warm and extremely happy. Truly a happy birthday! Thanks”

“We had lunch at Cedar & Elm a few months ago and had a great experience. But Christmas lunch today was a major disappointment. The website said “choose from either our five-course tasting menu or our regular menu”. We arrived for our 1:30 reservation, were seated late and then told only the brunch menu was available. :(”

“This is the only place I get tasty Hawaiian-style chicken teriyaki that is not offered by our neighborhood teriyaki joints. The website take-out is convenient and flexible for me to substitute/add side choices. They’re generous with portions and variety of free pick-up sauces. Just try it! All staff are friendly with the aloha spirit!”

“I had a great time at Toshi’s Teriyaki! The food was super tasty, juicy, flavorful teriyaki chicken with perfectly cooked rice and fresh veggies. The portions were generous, and the price was fair. The staff was friendly and quick, making the vibe really welcoming. Clean place, too! I’ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommend!”
