“Best burrito in the Kenmore-LFP area! The salsa bar especially is a plus for the aficionados of Mex food. The staff/owners are always friendly, and service quick.

The dining area can be cramped and furnishings are tired so not a date place. It lends to a dive resto vibe though and ultimately, if the food is great, price is reasonable, anything outside of those are just bonus.

Plenty of parking.

“Wandered in on a Saturday evening when all the other slow food restaurants were jam-packed with lengthy lines. We were the only sit-down patrons and had the dining room to ourselves! Ordered a large nachos platter with ground beef to share. It came with sour cream and avocado on the side, covered in diced tomatoes. Was surprisingly good and enough for two. Had a pleasant meal with table service, comfortable newly-upholstered booths, and could hear each other without having to yell. Great experience!“

“I feel more Mexican restaurants are essentially Tex Mex. I got tacos and the main thing that killed them are the packaged tortillas. All tacos had 2 layers of tortillas which in my opinion dont taste too great. The fish tacos plate was $25 for 3 tacos and no rice or beans. Also the tacos couldve used a bit more salsa and crema. And the salsa used is your basic tabasco and cholula. The flavors of all food items were very spot on. The cocktails were deliscous and the service was 10/10“

“What is this place?!? Taqueria? Birria lovers dream? Family? Yep!

Went in about an hour before closing and was greeted immediately upon entering. The menu is simple and very reasonably priced. The positions are VERY generous and the food is incredible.

There is also something special about the atmosphere. The way it’s been decorated. The little touches everywhere. It felt - like you just got invited into someone’s home for a meal. The service felt that same way.

Enter Brenda - part owner of this amazing establishment. Her energy and joy are infectious. She added so much to our dining experience. It was as if she had invited us to be guests at her home and couldn’t wait to share the passion in the food and the dream of this place.

This isn’t just a place to go because you like tacos, or if you know and love birria, or because it’s open. This is a place to go to experience a hug in the form of food. It’s a place to go if you’re missing home meals. It’s a place to go to thank people like Brenda and her family for putting this much joy in the world and soak a little up for yourself.
