“Can’t believe I’ve lived nearby so long and never stopped here. I’ve been searching for tacos as good as the ones from when I lived in SoCal and these are the winners by far. I got the adobada tacos and they were exactly what I wanted! I highly recommend this spot and will be back soon“

“Best burrito in the Kenmore-LFP area! The salsa bar especially is a plus for the aficionados of Mex food. The staff/owners are always friendly, and service quick.

The dining area can be cramped and furnishings are tired so not a date place. It lends to a dive resto vibe though and ultimately, if the food is great, price is reasonable, anything outside of those are just bonus.

Plenty of parking.

“Me and my gf came on a Wednesday night after working long days, we were starving, and The young man Trevor who worked the window, was super helpful, kind, and exhibited excellent customer service skills. He was very professional, and he was extremely fast and efficient w/ our order. I wish more fast food employees for all fast food restaurants in this area of Bothell/Kenmore were more like Trevor and the crew who was working with him on 4/24/2024 at 7:25 PM. “I feel more Mexican restaurants are essentially Tex Mex. I got tacos and the main thing that killed them are the packaged tortillas. All tacos had 2 layers of tortillas which in my opinion dont taste too great. The fish tacos plate was $25 for 3 tacos and no rice or beans. Also the tacos couldve used a bit more salsa and crema. And the salsa used is your basic tabasco and cholula. The flavors of all food items were very spot on. The cocktails were deliscous and the service was 10/10“

“Malena's is my favorite taco in Seattle. The burritos are HUGE and the tacos (hard shell) are delicious. Guacamole is legit and i could eat their salsas with everything. Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Rolled tacos as good as Olvera street in LA. Burritos put chain stores to shame. Such good food and freshly prepared to order.“

“I kept hearing about how great this place was so I finally gave it a try. Yes, the exterior is a little shabby but the inside looks clean and tidy. The 4 times I have been I was help by a very pleasant woman. I have always ordered the steak burrito. I really enjoy that the cheese inside is melted and they seem to have just the right amount of ingredients. The burrito is easy to consume on the go by removing the foil wrap as you make your way down. I may try other options soon but the burrito is so darn good it dances through my mind every time I drive by! They usually have a few cars lined up, you can drive through either side and they have a walk up window if you want to eat at their covered outdoor seating area. The building could use a face lift but don’t let that stop you from a delicious, quick stop, on the go or at the park meal.“
