The website take-out is convenient and flexible for me to substitute/add side choices. They’re generous with portions and variety of free pick-up sauces. Just try it! “We fell in love with the food and staff at the West Seattle commissary (and miss them very much) but just recently visited their wonderful new storefront space on Greenwood in Shoreline! We're big fans of the Khao Man tofu and the Khao Man Gai (Hainan simmered chicken, like I had growing up in Hong Kong), and of course the Thai tea, and mango sticky rice. Patty just introduced us to the corn fritters which were amazing. We discovered it's the best place to detour to avoid I-5 traffic coming home from Bellingham. “I don’t know what’s taken us so long to check out Nua seeing that we literally are a 5 minute walk away, but this is now a regular for us.

The basil fried rice here is absolutely the best I’ve ever had - it’s packed with so much flavor and the tofu is always done right. It has become a staple whenever I get food here. But the real star is the Kao Soi - there isn’t a better one in the city, and is a perfect meal in winter.

The massaman curry is pretty nice too. The rice portion that come with it is actually one the larger side than most places.“

“This is truly my favorite restaurant. I go here allllll the time. My favorite dishes are the khao soi, side salad (their dressing is phenomenal), cashew nut entree, spicy basil entree. If you want a simple takeout, this is the place to go. They also have a large projector where they sometimes show live streams of night markets so it’s a super inviting environment to dine in as well. “I’m Thai so I always have high expectations for Thai restaurants. But this place I would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could. I don’t see much Southern Thai food in the area, so this is new and exciting.

They accommodated our 6-person reservation. The portions are on the smaller side, which let us try many dishes. I can say everything we tried was really delicious and authentic. The main highlight was MUU KHO. We had to order it twice. The spiciness level isn’t really at the level of southern food you’d find in Thailand, but I understand why. Myself, from central Thailand, cannot handle the real southern spiciness either, so this was perfect for us.

Service was great and very attentive. There are many other dishes we didn’t try, and we will definitely come back.“

“I don’t know why it took me so long to write this review. A few years back during a crazy winter storm the power was all through Mountlake terrace. I don’t know why, but I for some reason thought this place would be open because I saw someone walk out while I was driving by. I went in and it was lit by a couple candles but completely dark besides that. Nonetheless, the owner asked me what I wanted (pad see ew), and he proceeded to go whip up this amazing pad see ew with little to no light. So yeah, this place is amazing.“

“I always take a risk ordering chicken pad thai because freezer-burned chicken is way too common at Thai restaurants in my experience. Siam on Eastlake got it right, tasty chicken with no weird frozen taste.

“All 10 women were happy with their food, no complaints. Beef steak, crispy pork, chicken and shrimp, they come with each uniquely tasty sauces! Sweet, sour and little spices. The serving lady and stuff handled 10 women beautifully.
We started at 12 noon on rainy Saturday. no waiting lines. When we finished with delightful roasted coconut ice, the waiting line was long around 1:30 PM.“
