“Tried Seree for the first time last night. They really did a beautiful job transitioning the space from an old Sheree's restaurant to an upscale Thai restaurant. The service was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was really delicious. We had crispy chicken wings, Salmon Choo Chee, Phad Thai, Thai Fried Rice, and a delicious beef salad. Overall, I loved it but will expect to pay a little extra for the atmosphere and great food next time, as the prices are higher than the typical Thai restaurant.“

“We visited the restaurant on a Wednesday afternoon, and it wasn’t very busy. The service was excellent, even though we kept changing our minds while ordering. The food came out fairly quickly. We ordered fish cakes as an appetizer, Pad Thai and crispy garlic fried chicken as our main dishes, and Thai tea for drinks. Everything was delicious. The staff were very friendly and thoughtfully packed up our leftover drinks to take home. We would definitely come back if we have the chance. 🥰“

“The food was wonderful!! Full 5 stars! My favorite is the cashew noodle and I love that you can, for a small fee, add an additional serving of protein, which I did. The gyoza was wonderful too. So many restaurants take out is not as nice as at the restaurant, but not theirs. I opened both orders and it was arranged so beautifully, like a pretty picture and it tasted as good as it looked. I'm so happy to have them 5 minutes away. You won't be sorry with what you order, I'm sure it will be excellent too. Thanks for the great food!!“

“An honest review: My grandma discovered this spot almost 30 years ago, and since then my parents and grandma have eaten here often, always saying it was amazing. Today I ordered food for takeaway for the third time, and honestly, it was just incredible. The Pad Thai is absolutely delicious, the Yellow Curry was amazing, same with the spring rolls and the Red Curry. The atmosphere is a bit dated, but the super tasty food and the incredibly sweet and friendly owners more than make up for it.
In short: The food is fantastic, the owners are super kind and sweet, the atmosphere is so-so — but if you want authentic, insanely good Thai food, this place is definitely a go-to.“

“I was in the area near the Vehicle Licensing office and decided to look for a spot for lunch. Luckily, I stumbled upon a Thai restaurant—clean, modern, yet with an atmosphere that reminded me of my travels in Asia, where the ground floors of residential buildings often become cozy eateries. It brought back so many memories. We tried the Duck & Pork Belly combination. Duck was impeccable. Love their version of pork belly which has a certain chewiness and a nice crunch from the skin. The red curry (asked for 4 for heat) and it was mild with a little smoldering kick. Beautiful! We are heading back as we saw another table ordered the lunch special. Generous portion of curry, noodles & appetizer.

So if you love Thai food or simply want to try one,this is highly recommended—authentic atmosphere and nostalgia in one meal.“

Everything was fresh and full of flavor—the spring rolls were crisp and tasty, the Panang Curry with shrimp had a perfect balance of spice and creaminess, and the Pla Rad Prik was beautifully cooked with just the right heat. The jasmine tea rounded out the meal perfectly. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and Binda provided exceptional service, making the experience even better. “First time to this area, drove by and decided to stop. Not bad! The sauce was “brothy” and tasted light and flavorful. I got spice level 4 but it wasn’t spicy at all. They did bring extra spices to the table. I was here for lunch and thought rice came with it. It did not, it was additional. No biggie, just wanted to mention as I’ve been to Thai places for lunch where you get the rice included. Service was great.“

I asked the waitress for an extra plate so I could share the papaya salad with my mom and her friend, but it took a long time for the plates to arrive. We eventually decided not to wait and ate the papaya salad with the rest of our food, which ended up being messy because of the fish sauce.

Aside from that, the food was still very good. For those who don’t like raw vegetables, I wouldn’t recommend the papaya salad, as it can be hard on the stomach—especially if you’ve recently had gallbladder surgery. I mention this because I didn’t realize my mom’s friend couldn’t eat raw food, so sticking to soup is a better option. Their soup is very good, and we really enjoyed it.“

Lunch special is everything one could ask for, soup, salad, rice, and yummy noodles with plenty of spice if that's how you get down! “I’m staying at the hotel just across the street, and I couldn’t resist stopping by this gem! Let me tell you, it was an absolute thrill! I ordered the Chicken & Katsu along with a side of egg rolls, and wow, did it blow me away!

The chicken was cooked to absolute perfection! Instead of drowning in teriyaki sauce, it had this fantastic coating that gave it an incredible sweet teriyaki flavor while keeping it moist and packed with that delicious wok taste.

And the katsu? Oh my goodness! It was breaded to perfection, delivering that legendary Katsu crunch in every single bite! The in-house-made Katsu sauce added just the right touch of sweetness, making it an unbeatable combination.

As for the egg rolls, they were pure bliss! Crispy, crunchy, and bursting with flavor, they absolutely hit the spot!

“We lived in Laos for 7 years and love Lao food. This is by far the most authentic tasting Lao food that we have found. We especially like their nem khao, Lao style sausages, and their jeow mak lin is the only real-tasting Lao tomato salsa that I have ever found outside of Laos or my wife's kitchen. They have done amazing job with their flavors and indoor casual atmosphere (feels very modern Vientiane chic). They seem to have a hard time keeping their khao piak noodles on hand so if you really your khao piak fix, be sure to call ahead. I have now been to Sweet Rice 5 times and they have never had the khao piak noodles. If you want really good Lao food and can't get over there, you can get your fix at Sweet Rice!“

The balance between the spiciness and the coconut milk and other flavors is amazing. Other highlights are the Pho and I usually share the Beef Sticks as an appetizer.
