“Nothing but love for a local chicken joint with nothing but love for me and mine. ❤️ fantastic atmosphere, good music, good food! Try the honey butter biscuit fried chicken sandwich, with some hot sauce, your soul will thank you. Much love to all of the staff there, y'all have saved my behind and fed my soul, more than I care to admit.“

“Not just THE BEST buttermilk biscuits, but the best GLUTEN FREE biscuits! I ate them too fast to take a photo and will be ordering more! The bacon in the MacGregor was perfect and I loved the cheese on the Pike. They're crispy on the outside, perfect for your favorite toppings, and flakey on the inside. I took them home and they paired well with breakfast and the chili I had for dinner. Huge thank you to the staff for the recommendations! If you haven't been here, what are you waiting for?“

“The hype is real. Buttery moist biscuits… delicious!
I ordered the biscuit with veggie patty and mushroom gravy. So good! Don’t miss out trying this spot!
Expect to wait long so here’s a tip! If you see the sign that tells you how long you have to wait, it’s probably true. So place your order and then walk down the street to pikes place and grab some coffee or other food.“

“the biscuits are good but they have to upgrade their ordering system. the only way to know how long it will take before your order is likely to be done is to go to the location in person. why can't they show an estimate on their website? when you order online, why can't they give you an estimated time that it will be done? the wait time is often about an hour and I don't want to wait around the pickup window for an hour, especially when there is almost no seating nearby“

“Wow great fried chicken - my brother claims it was life changing 😀. Nothing more to say except it's recommended by Oprah!“

“Don't get to Seattle very often. How to try. I think my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Turned out to be a really good lunch. And I got to take some home for dinner. Got a half and half on the chicken and I think I'll get all spicy next time I really enjoyed the extra flavor and Heat. Not too much heat.“

“Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for southern style food, great atmosphere and also take advantage of the full bar. I had the oxtails and rice. I noticed the Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon and bought a glass. Being a black sommelier here in Seattle, the glass pours were very affordable and a great value. Notes of dark chocolate, ripe blackberry, ripe black plum, bell pepper and tobacco spice. I love this place and it’s also very kid and family friendly.“

“Super friendly service with indoor counter bar for dine-in or a couple outdoor tables when the weather is OK. I always get the pound of spicy fried gizzards which are always made fresh, so I have to wait for them to cook it if I don't use their mobile app to order ahead of time.“

“Love their chicken. Their new online ordering thing is really annoying though. You used to be able to call them directly but now their automated message tells you to go to their website to submit orders.
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of tables to sit at“

“Ezell's Famous Fried Chicken remain the one, the go to in either times of triumph or trouble, the one to try and beat but not likely to ever happen. In short and sum, the best fried chicken definitively in the PNW - The Pacific Northwest, as well as very arguably Ezell's Famous Chicken may be best of the best across the whole USA Nation. Even at those levels, Ezell's is always in contention in consistent high quality food provided with great service.“

“Loved the food I was amazed with the quantity. It was a good amount. My only regret is I didn't get more BBQ sauce.
Parking: The street it is on was very busy something into the parking lot was difficult due to traffic. It could of just been rush hour.“

“We went Ezell's on 45 but there was no dine in. Made a special trip to the Rainer location only to find out they don't have dine in either even though Google says dine in. This was my first time at Ezell's. The food was good but the service was average. The cashier wasn't helpful (making suggestions when asked). The atmosphere would have been 5 star if the dine in was there.“

“If you live in Seattle and you love chicken, you must know Ezell's. This chicken is the one rumored to be the meal Opra sent her private jet to Seattle to pick up chicken dinners for her staff. Yes, it's that good.when you walk in, you'll get a face slap with the aroma of their famous chicken. Numerous locations around Seattle and 18 franchises in Washington. This Kirkland location just opened up this year (2024) , and this visit was not my first taste of what I believe is the best tasting chicken I have ever eaten. Single pieces are available, but the meals are the best value. I like regular but spicy is an option. I love the chicken livers; don't judge me. Staff are always polite and helpful. You can dine in or get it to go. Every Ezell's I have been to is very clean, and the quality is consistently good . Resently Ezell's celibrated 40 years of cooking it's famous chicken ,started by Ezell Stephen and Lewis Rudd in February 3, 1984 in the Central District. The chain is owned now by Faye, Ezell's former wife. 5 stars to Ezell's in Kirkland and welcome to the neighborhood.“
