“Ezell's chicken strips are my absolute favorite. Been here countless times. Staff is always cool. The strips take longer to cook than I prefer, but they are worth the wait. Their fried chicken is great too. I just prefer the regular strips. I could eat them every day. All the food is very good though. The fries and/or fried okra are my favorite sides. Just some good food!“

“Not just THE BEST buttermilk biscuits, but the best GLUTEN FREE biscuits! I ate them too fast to take a photo and will be ordering more! The bacon in the MacGregor was perfect and I loved the cheese on the Pike. They're crispy on the outside, perfect for your favorite toppings, and flakey on the inside. I took them home and they paired well with breakfast and the chili I had for dinner. Huge thank you to the staff for the recommendations! If you haven't been here, what are you waiting for?“

“I did not know about this spot. The cabbage was tender and flavorful. The fried chicken was bomb. I actually ate the skin. I NEVER EAT THE SKIN. Perfect not greasy. You receive a free drink and small bag of chips with your order. I didn't try the desserts. Next time.“

“Ordered food for pick up on 1/15/26 and had to call back to adjust the time. The friendliest and courteous man who answered the phone assured me all was well. The chicken was hot, juicy and tender, rolls were delicious and sides of Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes tasted like Moms. We will be back soon. We want to support a locally owned company.“

“Great food and fun vibes! Upon arrival, the staff politely informed us it would be at least 30 minute wait. It was TOTALLY worth the wait. The staff is enthusiastic and super helpful! We ordered the bacon egg and cheese Bitchwich, a side of garlic grits with cheese and both were amazingly yummy! Looking forward to coming back and trying everything on the menu!“

“I made it home to Tulsa, Oklahoma just to tell my friends and family about my experience. The food in general was amazing seasoned and cooked well. Spicy okra, and Cole slaw was tasty they even offer $1 sweet potato pie . I can not wait to come back and visit see you summer of 2026“

“It's Ezell's! It's a Seattle classic. My kid has grown up on their chicken tenders (1 pound - half/half, always) - they are a warm, familiar, delicous treat! Avoid DoorDash if you can - 1 pound of tenders on DoorDash (with 10% tip) was $46.04 - when I decided to pick up at the store on Rainier, it was $24.24. Save yourself some $ if you can, and support Ezell's directly!“

“we ordered 2 brisket and 2 chicken plates... no complaints. our sides were yams, collard greens, beans and okra. there was flavor, excellent (really more than enough) portion sizes. we will definitely visit again.“
