“If you’re looking for a place with amazing homemade soup you seriously have to try this place!! I have been going here for years and never been disappointed in any of their soups. The only thing I’ve been disappointed in is my decision to get the smaller cup. Go for the bigger size you won’t be disappointed!! #supportlocalsmallbusinesses“

“I came across this shop while looking for gluten-free goodies of any kind. I don't get to BG often, so I try to find new places when I am in this town.

I love the premise of a space for small, local bakers and artisans to display thier goods and get known in thier local community.
They have everything from locally made hand sanitizer, to laundry soap for sensitive folks, to hand creams and face serums, new and gently used clothing, home decor, small games, stickers, makeup, and much more.
I picked up a hand sanitizer and hand cream from one of the local makers, after bumping into her in the store and chatting for a couple minutes. She makes laundry soap, hand sanitizer, poopori and more. Her sister makes the hand creams, face serum and more, on the same table display. She was very kind and helpful with ingredients as I have very sensitive skin.

There is gently used, reasonably priced clothing in the north-west corner of the building. Much of what is for sale is locally made...very local. I did find some things made far away, so check labels if that is important to you.

The main reason I stopped in was not for the skin priducts I purchased, but for gluten free goodies. I am not in BG often, so I always search maps for gf when I am, as new places open all the time.

This is not a gluten free bakery. They do make and bake the gf at a seperate time, with seperate pans. I am fairly sensitive to cross-contamination and did not get sick. Shared oil or cooking surfaces will cause me much grief. If you need to avoid wheat, like myself, as well as gluten, these cinnamon rolls are a win.

There are two to three gf goodies available here most days. When I arrived, it was two. They had three cinnamon rolls left and three monster cookies at around noon on a weekday. I am not a big fan of monster cookies, so I skipped that and grabbed a cinnamon roll to share with the hubs.

Now, when purusing a new place for gf, it is very hit or miss...mostly miss. So I purchased, expecting to be disappointed as a delicious gf cinnamon roll is kind of a holy grail. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this cinnamon roll, once heated in a 300 degree oven, for ten minutes, was the grail...not quite holy...as the icing could be a bit cream-cheesier. Personal preference varies and I accept I may be in the minority.

The one bite we each took before warming was ok, but the roll was pretty much perfection upon warming. I will be back for this and to try more of this bakers goodies. I will also keep this option in mind for family gatherings, where multiple rolls will be consumed.

That said, the rolls are kept in a shared case, however, they are in a shut, clamshell and brought in from elsewhere, so I felt safe grabbing one and had no reaction. I am sensitive enough shared oil or cooking surfaces make me sick.

Spread the good word...good gf cinnamon rolls are available. Now if I can just track down a contamination-free, fried, good, yeast donut.“
