I visited there for the first time and the pastries were presentable and delicious. Not too sweet or salty. I really enjoyed the rhubarb coffee cake! I only asked for a takeout order so I cannot review my dine in experience. The sales associates were friendly towards me while I was fighting not to purchase everything lol. This was my first time, so hopefully I can continue having positive experiences here.
Great little bakery. All the sweets of Germany and a good cup of coffee to go with. You won't come out with a sugar high from this place. flavor or sugar always wins in my book. Make sure to call ahead for a whole cake when you need one.

Just moved to work in Lakewood.
There was no rush when I got there. So no line to wait through. Atmosphere is a bit like a sterile cafeteria, would love.more of a cafe vibe.
Regardless, not disappointed in the food so far, or the sandwhiches and pretzels from next door.
