“We came here on a Friday and just had one drink. We were walking through town and heard live music coming from inside this tasting room. We initially walked in and thought they only had wine - I am not a wine drinker, sorry and all the tables were full so we weren’t going to stay. Then a staff member asked if we needed help and I noticed an empty cider can on a table and a couple people from the table departed. So we stayed for a bit and enjoyed the music.

The two staff members who helped us were friendly and had upbeat personalities. I would say the atmosphere was pretty upbeat. It is pretty small in there - not too many tables but you can share a table with other customers. It was somewhat loud with the music and talking but it wasn’t so loud you couldn’t hear the person bedside you. They have some out door seating as well I believe.

We weren’t interested in food so I’m not sure if they even have a food menu.

“This establishment makes some darn good pizza. Ordered the pepperoni, the Karl, and a Captain Planet pizza. I really do believe the staff and owners try out these topping combinations and decide for themselves what works or doesn’t, along with customer feedback of course. Well done.

What I will say, the pizza was salty! All of them, unfortunately. I’m not sure if this a new phenomenon, but it was definitely something I noticed.

“My favorite restaurant to eat and when I’m in Leavenworth Washington. Have been going there for years. You won’t regret going. I like the smoked pork chop with the potato salad and the sauerkraut. My husband loves their schnitzel.“

“Raised in Jersey, I’m a bit of a pizza snob… this gives East Coast vibes for sure! I have to say, this is the BEST pizza we have had in WA state so far since moving here 3 years ago.“

“The Squirrel Tree restaurant and Resort is the " go to" place for us locals. Good food, friendly helpful staff and plenty of entertainment including live music several days a week, pool tables, dart boards, bingo night and a huge outdoor area with cool lights, corn hole and more. There plenty of seating and a fire pit as well. If you have an EV there is a charging station in the back!. For campers there is an RV resort as well for other travelers check out the motel. You will want to check it out!“
