Super nice staff and some yummy gluten-free options I was happily surprised to find. Definitely will visit again when in Long Beach!
I wish I could give 1 million stars. we were on our honeymoon from Indiana in Long Beach. Found this place first day there and we visited every single day. we loved every single thing we got. their baked treats are so good. best I've ever had. I may have to fly across the country just for your treats!
One of the Best bakeries I've ever been too!! Have gone there over the past 20 years!! An absolute must if you are anywhere near Long Beach!!! Haystack and Crinkle cookies my favourite!! 😋

Dylan's Cottage Bakery & Delicatessen offers an array of delectable baked goods, including outstanding apple fritters and maple bars. Their breakfast sandwiches are also praised as amazing. Customers have noted that the pastries are large and delicious, making this a great stop for those looking for a treat. While there is no seating available, service is friendly and quick even during busy times. The desserts are the main attraction, with items like raspberry pastries and cinnamon rolls with walnuts drawing positive remarks. Many customers are eager to return, especially for the vast selection of customizable deli sandwiches and the unique pastries available throughout the day.
The bakery is generally well-received, with customers appreciating the wide variety of baked goods, including the popular devil dogs and peanut butter dogs. The staff is described as generally nice and friendly, although one customer mentioned an issue with an older worker's attitude. The bathroom is not the most upbeat, but the overall experience is highly recommended. The deli service can be a bit scattered at times, with one customer noting a miscommunication about the size of the chowder. However, the Reuben sandwich was tasty, though some customers feel the prices could be a bit lower. Overall, Dylan's Cottage Bakery & Delicatessen remains a great place to visit, with its charming atmosphere and delicious baked goods.
