“I brought a friend with me from out of town to visit this cat cafe- neither of us had been before. The staff were very kind and it was clear how much love is put in to the care and well being of the kitties. I’d recommend coming here, they have cute stickers and cat toys and other merch as well! Bring a few friends, I think the experience would be best with a slightly bigger group of friends (maybe 4-5) just so you have more people you know in the room with you (meaning, fewer strangers in the room) since they do cap the number of people that can be in the room at a time (for the kitties safety and wellbeing!).
Parking: May be difficult to find a spot really close, will likely have to park a couple blocks out on the street. Parking was cheap, about 5$ for just over an hour. It wasn’t TERRIBLE, but give yourself some extra time and grace to find a spot.“

“My family and I visited the cafe during a visit to Seattle last week, and we all LOVED our time there. The cats were all very friendly, the cafe was clean and charming, and the employees were kind and engaging. This was by far our favorite activity we did while in the city, and we could’ve easily spent several more hours playing with the kitties. Such a fun time!“

“Casual bakery with great quality and an interesting combination of cuisines - and it definitely works!! Slavic piroshkis combined with Philippine/Thai-ish fillings. Huge selection of sweets, there is always something new to try and I've not been disappointed. My new favorite casual lunch spot on Cap Hill.“

“When I tell you that this was one of the best brunches I've ever had, I'm not exaggerating.
My best friend went to UW and has been raving about Voula for YEARS. When I finally visited Seattle, this was the first place we added to the list and it did not disappoint. We ordered the pinata benedict and the Greek hobo and both were so unique and tasted phenomenal. As a potato lover, I couldn't believe the size of the hashbrowns. It was bigger than my face!! I was so stuffed after and with their low prices, it felt like such a steal. Also, the service was so unbelievably friendly. I ordered coffee and I must have had 4 refills because of how attentive they are. Voula's had such a mom and pop feel and made you feel so cozy. It seemed so many who were dining around us were regulars. I still think about this food and I cannot recommend Voula's enough!“

“Vegetarian options: Today was my first visit to Livbud; I found it through Seattle Restaurant Week. The service was great and I enjoyed the mushroom tartine, but the roasted eggplant soup was absolutely delicious. I can't describe the flavor; an unusual kind of pepper might have contributed to it.
There are a lot of other dishes I want to try in future visits. That soup will be hard to resist, though!“

“I came by daily for my coffee breaks and lunch couple of times. It's a great kitschy coffee place with warm and cozy vibes. Comfortable different type of sofas and chairs scattered around the place. It was a great place to pop in for a break while I was nearby for site training. All of the staff was so helpful and friendly too!!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️Was aimlessly wandering SeaTac and stopped by to try a sample…the sweetest woman introduced me to my new favorite coffee. I was nervous about the taste after attempts to choke down dirt water (other mushroom coffee alternatives), these are SO GOOD! Very smooth. The night time tea is also delicious if you like chamomile ☕️“

“Favorite coffee place in Seattle. Just moved to the area and the first time I had a decent latte in my entire life was here!
They allow dogs, post outdoorsy social events to join, and the drinks are the best around. Trust me I’ve been looking for a proper coffee, and it’s consistently great here.
Shout out to the guy working Thursday evening and Friday morning. He’s very fast, friendly, and relaxed. And makes a great latte 😎“

“First time going to Oxbow Barkery and wow this is a great welcoming LGBTQIA community barkery in my old neighborhood. Great vibes from the food and beverage team here. Once you figure out the logistics, I highly recommend Oxbow Bakery. I received excellent customer service from Andy as I first came in. Chef 👨🍳 Tyler gave me the heads up on the the next Pizza 🍕 coming on deck to slices and it was amazing. Hannah poured my last mimosa's and it was made with love 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈💯🥂🍾🫂I shall return with my clients in the near future. “I am a regular customer of DeLaurenti since early 2000s.The products they sell are of top quality; the sandwiches and everything you can find in this store is delicious. However, I was not feeling well lately and could not drive down there to do my regular biweekly charcuterie and chese shopping for months. I hesitated to use their delivery service because of the perishable items, but I still wanted to give it a try. The same day delivery worked like a charm. Everything was well packaged and labeled clearly. I’m glad they offer this option for those who cannot travel there, and I would certainly recommend the delivery service to everyone.“

“Pros: 1. The food and bakery items are all incredible. Make it a point to try the veggie toast and buckwheat scone with jam and butter. In fact, pretty much every bakery item is delicious. 2. Friendly service
Cons: 1. The wait to order can easily be 10-15 min and that’s only with a few people ahead of you. 2. They need to keep a window cracked or something because there’s almost no ventilation happening so you will always leave smelling like the kitchen (and that scent sticks). 3. A bit on the expensive side.“

“Update they gave me a refund even though I never asked. The customer service is always good and well done. There was a misunderstanding like I had said. I wouldn't let this I misunderstanding Let me stop coming here, and I still come here even after the incident.
The food is good. I am not gonna lie. That's why I am often getting my food here.
Thank you noon, Cafe.
After carely stating what I wanted and what they claim. The food turned out to not be what I paid for. Total around 40 for just this... after opening this order, I am definitely despointeted. This place is good and the food is good but this order with price is ridiculous. I have been honest, I am very disappointed.
This was 40 int total....! Honeste
Imagin buying a whole goat, and then you see only some parts in your order. You were told the whole goat.“

“The staff at this cafe should teach classes on customer service and kindness. The most lovely staff. To top it off, the coffee and food was great. I sat in the Cafe for about an hour and listened to the staff, talk to customers, give out hugs, and genuinely care about the regular customers.
My sister is blind and when we meet up for coffee, lunch, or shopping, I am always hopeful the staff will recognize the white cane and adjust appropriately. This place again was above the mark. The staff helped guide her to the front counter. Helped with the card transaction and brought the food and beverage to her when it was ready.
One of the hardest parts of going out is hearing someone say to her it's right there and point. It's so frustrating... the barista at this cafe explained what was on the screen and made the selections for her.
Thank you for making my day and giving me hope. ?“

“I came here to plug in for a few hours one Sunday and loved it! They have a very lovable seasonal drink menu and the pastry case looked great. They also have breakfast and lunch bites, with lighter and heavier options that change by season. I had their smoked salmon tartine -- super good flavors (loved the touch of olive oil), fresh salmon, high-quality bread, large portion, and excellent overall. I also had their autumn latte (half sweet with oat milk) -- the espresso was good quality and the spices came through, even though it was half sweet (full sweet probably wouldn't be overwhelming for most people, I'm just not a sweet drink person, so I tend to be cautious when ordering drinks like that). They have WiFi, a couple of outlets, and indoor and outdoor seating. I'd say the vibe is slightly more suitable to socialize or have a quick bite, but people sitting at the bar were plugged in for a while. Oh, and they have plenty of wine bottles on display, so there's lots to explore here! I'm thinking you'll find something to love about this place!“

“Have been wanting to come here for a while and finally came by for a pre-work coffee. The barista made my espresso perfectly and was great to chat with. The vibes in here are spectacular, not too loud, free Wi-Fi, and I love the upstairs seating area!
There weren’t many food options left but I think I just visited too late in the day!
Will definitely be back here very soon.“

“We love this neighborhood spot! Amazing food and great wine & cocktails. Above all, the staff are so welcoming and great. I highly recommend their dinner service and their happy hour (currently 3-5). Recommendations: any of their specials, their (vegetarian) lasagna, chicken pot pie, savory cheesecake, all the apps. They also have a wine club you can look up on their website. Definitely recommend this place for a date, after work to wait for traffic to die down, a special occasion or family meal. They have some cute outdoor seating and are family friendly. I would recommend reservations or at least looking but they also have a small bar you can sit at. On weekends I recommend a reservation as they are in a smaller space (don't let the location across from the Newcastle library in the shopping plaza fool you-this is a great gem). You will feel comfortable as you are, or dressed up here too. The friendly owner is often around to welcome you and make sure you are having a great experience! Parking is easy, it's friendly to persons with a disability, and there are vegetarian options. I am sure you can ask about other dietary restrictions. They have a great vibe and lovely art.“

“Pretty cool. We had to wait about 45 min in line to order at the main coffee bar as there was only one register open. Eventually they opened up a second register & the line flowed better. They were also out of a bunch of food items listed & what we were served would’ve been much better had it been heated. Drinks were super good & watching the actual roastery part was awesome.“

“Stone Way Cafe was one of those spots I followed on Instagram long before I finally got the chance to visit. Known for their breakfast burritos, I made my way there on a sunny Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m. It was easy to find free street parking just a few blocks away, but as expected, there was already a line of 15+ people out the door. It’s clear the staff have a solid process down, because we only had to wait about 15 mins for our order.
My friend and I each ordered the sausage breakfast burrito, a side of potatoes, a matcha oat milk latte, and their special coconut cold brew. The burritos were generously sized and packed with flavor. We didn't realize they already came with potatoes inside, so the extra side of potatoes ended up being a bit much which was good to know for next time. Towards the end, my burrito was pretty oily but that makes sense since it was sausage. Both drinks were solid, but nothing to write home about.
I really appreciated that the restaurant offered a variety of hot sauces -- sriracha, Valentino's, and Tapatío -- which is essential for me when it comes to breakfast. Prices were fair for Seattle, especially considering the portion sizes and quality. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot year-round.
Next time I'm in the area, I'd love to swing by for lunch -- their other food and drink items looked just as tempting!“

“Van Gogh Coffeehouse in Wedgwood is like stepping into a cozy, caffeine-fueled version of the artist’s mind—minus the ear incident. The walls are adorned with Van Gogh reproductions, giving the place a quirky charm. I ordered a veggie sausage breakfast sandwich: a savory patty nestled between a toasted English muffin, with egg, cheddar, and mayo. It was hearty and satisfying, a perfect start to the day. The sparkling water added a refreshing touch. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance is laid-back, with a mix of locals and students typing away on laptops. It’s a delightful spot that captures Seattle’s unique blend of art and coffee culture.“

“Monorail Espresso - A Beacon of Warmth in Downtown Seattle
If you're in Seattle and looking for more than just a caffeine fix, Monorail Espresso is the place to go. With multiple locations nestled in the heart of downtown, this gem has become my favorite spot, especially during the challenging times we've all faced in recent years.
Monorail Espresso has been a constant source of comfort and energy. Throughout the long, quiet months when downtown was nearly deserted, their stands stood open, and their baristas continued to serve with a smile. They provided more than just coffee; they offered a sense of normalcy and connection that was deeply needed.
Their friendly faces and warm interactions make every visit special. Whether you're a regular or a newcomer, you're greeted with genuine kindness that makes you feel welcome and appreciated. It's this unique blend of excellent coffee and heartfelt service that sets Monorail Espresso apart.
As we all step back into the hustle and bustle of daily life, Monorail Espresso stands as a beacon of hope and community. I'm incredibly thankful for their presence and the joy they bring to each day. If you haven't experienced it yet, do yourself a favor and drop by. You'll find more than just a cup of coffee; you'll find good, strong coffee and good, kind people that make you feel at ease.“

“Don't judge the book by its cover -- this place seems run down on the outside, but once you're inside it's the real deal. GREAT coffee. The baristas know what they are doing. If you're more of a tea person, their tea lattes are wonderful -- I had a chai latte and I'm so used to disappointing ones from most cafes. But this one was perfect, and actually "spiced" to perfection. One of the best I have had in town.
It's a very small space inside as well, but cozy. It can get crowded when busy, but its worth it even to just get your coffee to go and head somehwere else if you need to spread out. My new favorite cafe in the U district!“

“This is a great place to grab a hot or cold beverage, maybe a bite, personally haven’t tried one, however my friend gets food often and loves it. Great atmosphere. Gives that Seattle coffee shop vibe, NOT your cookie corner Starbucks. It’s a nice to place to get some work done, read, whatever your preference. It does get busy and quite noisy at times, but for me that’s part of the experience.“
