I could see one guy was clearly in charge, taking inventory of everything, like he had a lot of work ahead of him.Turns out, he's the new owner, Andy. He owns several other Subways throughout the Seattle area, and decided to buy the MI Subway from the prior owner, Mike. He knew he had his work cut out for him, and hand-picked his most elite team members from each of his locations.They're all friendly, fast, and for the first time in my life the sub was still hot when I got it home. This isn't the Mercer Island Subway you remember. Its so much better!“

“I visited on 8/31/2024 and it was my first time there. I did look at their website ahead of time to see what they had to offer in terms of food and drink and was not disappointed. The young woman at the counter who greeted me (Did not get her name) and took my order was very helpful. I ordered a sweet tea and asked if there were any lemon slices to add to the drink. She was nice enough to grab a fresh lemon, cut it up and give me a slice. Who does that nowadays? I thought that was so cool of her to do. I ordered the pretzel nuggets which were AMAZING!!! I also ordered the Thai Stick Teriyaki chicken sandwich which was really good as well. I like the vibes of the place as well. This place has a bar inside and while I did not have an alcoholic drink this time, I will be adventurous on my next trip there. Will definitely visit again when I next visit Seattle.“

“Had a horrible passport photo printed at Walgreens but what do you do? They don’t care if it’s bad. So I went to this building to get an urgent passport renewal and was there a little ahead of schedule. When I saw this place on my way in and that they did passport photos, I thought - can’t hurt to check it out. Monica was sooo sweet and actually helped me get a good photo…so much better! I’ve got to look at this for ten years and I was bummed I had such a bad photo… but not anymore! Wish I hadn’t wasted the money at Walgreens. Thanks Monica!!“

There are always a lot of kids there for my little ones to run around with while I have a beer, and the owners and all the staff couldn’t be nicer. I see them in other establishments or on walks around the neighborhood and they always wave or stop for a chat. Truly, a store that brings the community together.“

“Meatball sub was pretty delicious. I’m a big fan of their baguette. They actually have the marinara sauce on the side which is so smart. As soon as it was in the sandwich it definitely got soggy (but that’s expected)

We came in around 1:30ish on a Saturday and omg, not even 20 mins later - they were “sold out”. There’s not too much seating but we were able to snag some stools.

I thought the overall flavor wasn’t special but I felt satisfied and full. The restaurant runs by ordering via an iPad so they call out your name when it’s ready. A good spot to check out in pioneer! Just be warned they sell out easily.“

“Ever since Scratch on 12th closed down I’ve been on the hunt for place that makes sandwiches as good as they did, and I think I finally found it.

Much like Scratch, the sandwiches seem a bit small at first, but one bite and…omg the flavors. It’s well balanced, and by the time you’re done you’re full because the meat portions are juicy and generous. It passes my Chipotle test - worth the flavor and not leaving me hungry with a list price around $15.

I plan to try every sandwich they have, but the two I’ve gotten to were excellent. Thick, juicy meat, balanced and flavorful sauces and other items, and soft bread that completes the taste and feel. I even got a free cookie. I’m not much of fan of cookies, but this one continued the trend of being well balanced (and well salted), and everyone I shared it with enjoyed it.

The shop itself it just a counter and a drink fridge, no real place to sit. It works, it’s nice, but plan to take it to go.

I will be back here as often as I can, tho probably not as often as I’d like as they’re only open for lunch.“

Vegetarian options: My friend ordered a 12 inch all veggie sub, and does this regularly. I am not vegetarian, so I had a turkey sub, which was also delicious (I did get the "all the veggies" option, however, because veggies are yummy!).“

“I really like coming here. I pick up stuff for myself and coworkers. It’s about 70% great but I’ll pick up a nacho and it clearly says onions and tomatoes with no jalepeno. No jalepeno as requested but neither a single bit of tomato or onion either which come by default. Well not sure who is making these but it’s probably a new person I guess? They need to read the orders. Having 3 tiny slices of black olive on a foot long is not ‘more olives.’ I come here a LOT and I tip but not sure why this kinda stuff keeps happening here.“

“I usually order on the app and pick it up. I have always gotten good service at this location and the food has always been good. Once they gave us the wrong sandwich but when I called they said they would remake the sandwich with our next order at no charge. Three months later I ordered again and they did in fact give us the sandwich at no charge, and they were very pleasant and nice to deal with in the process. I would 100% recommend this Jersey Mikes. The sandwiches are the best and the service is excellent. I personally always order the Club Sub, daughter likes the roast beef and provolone, and my husband likes the Bacon Chicken Ranch.“

“Simply amazing. I had the Italian toasty plus tomato, onion, hot peppers, lettuce and red wine vinegar plus mayo. Delicious.

The furniture is uncomfortable and it was way too hot inside. I was confused on how to order due to all the people waiting by the counter for their mobile pickups. Thankfully they have an outdoor sitting area so I ate outside.
