“The Summit Pub is a special place.
Everybody feels like family there. Even though it’s located in the city limits, it has that small-town bar charm that’s getting harder to find.

The staff is awesome, and the food is even better. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu, and it’s all solid—but the tuna melt is my go-to, and the taco salad is huge (definitely enough for two people).

Josh, the owner, is a great guy. Quiet and soft-spoken, but always kind and genuine. The Summit is a spot that does things right—good food, good people, and a place where you’re always welcome.“

“I got a Cheesesteak here and am from an hour away from Philly and it was good and I'm a big critic and expert on such things. The bartender I bought it from was nice and pretty hot too not going to lie. The owner is a weird man though who basically was acting like fixing a broken down car is against the law and like he needed to call the police because I was having a hard time with it so I just pushed it to a different place and finished it there. Not going to factor that into this review or I'd give it 1 star instead of 5.“

“My friend introduced me to this place yesterday. I never thought in a million years I’d like dipping chips (homemade too) in garlic ranch dressing, but it was delicious. Their French Dip with au jus was scrumptious as well; almost as good as having one in NY. Also, they have awesome garlic fries, they use fresh minced garlic. They even make their mozzarella sticks from scratch. Thanks to my friend, I’ll definitely have to take my family here, yum! 🙉 We had an awesome waitress, very attentive. I guess if you’re a first timer, they let you try their homemade chips for free; it was nice of her to tell me that. Thank you to Shimicka, for making this picky NYers first time dining in, a great experience. I’ll definitely be bringing my family here to try their food.“

“This is a great sports bar/restaurant. The breakfast sandwich is delicious; however, they don't open until 10:30. I'm a fan of the reuben, as well. Their chips and salsa are the best around, serving fresh, warm chips and spicy salsa. And the salads are tasty, too. Don't be discouraged if the parking lot looks full: there is a large lot for additional parking in back.“

Couple of pool tables in decent condition, multiple screens with various games going on, colorful locals who are obviously regulars. If that's your jam (wasn't looking for that tonight, myself), you'll love it. Looking for something else and you probably want to take out... Which was totally worth it.“

For a venue that often requires reservations and carries a sense of occasion, it would be nice to see a few more elevated or mature dining options added to the mix.“

It was well hosted and I really enjoyed the entertainment. I didn't order any food, but I'm a local and have only heard good things about the food here. I will definitely go back again for lunch or possibly dinner sometime in the near future.“

“McMenamins did a great job of restoring and reviving the architectural gem that is the Tacoma Elks Temple and the adjacent Spanish Steps. Even though it's been quite a few years, it still feels fresh and satisfying. Each of the half dozen bars is unique and enjoyable. The food at the main dining room (The Pub) is not exactly "fine dining" but it is excellent quality and there is enough variety on the menu to satisfy everyone. And our service by Kelly was superb.“
