Attentive, friendly and helpful staff. The combination appetizer was delicious. We didn’t like the almond fried chicken. We liked the pork chop suet and pork dumplings. They didn’t have a bartender but the server did her best to make the cocktails we asked for.
My family found Fortune Mandarin back in 2007 when we moved to Whatcom County. We have had wonderful service and food ever since our first visit. The only reason why I'm giving this rating of a 4-star review is because the price has gone up 35%. I am not saying that the food isn't worth the cost because we think that this is the best Chinese food restaurant in Skagit and Whatcom countries but with the cost going up so much we can't afford to go as often as we have and would like...read full review

This is my go to Asian food restaurant....eat in or take out. Food is consistently excellent. I personally love the moo shu pork and broccoli beef, Mongolian.....service is good, tea is good, and crab/cheese wontons are to die for.
