“Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. “We've stopped here every now and then for the atmosphere and tasty coffees and Italian sodas. My favorite to get is a cardamom Italian soda with cream and whipped cream. They're really nice, the cups and straws are compostable, and it's a super chill atmosphere if you're not in a rush with tables inside and a couple outside. Would recommend.“

“Super impressed with this locally owned coffee shop... It has the vibe of old school Seattle coffee shops with a fresh edge, which is to say it's casual and comfortable, made for hanging out, but they also carry more food and make it easy to get stuff to go.
They bake and make all their stuff in house. The excellence of their wares is evidenced by the number of customers and the many take out orders getting picked up.
The counter person was super helpful, friendly and welcoming. They recommended several things and I tried the coconut bread, a signature item. It was delicious - a large slab that was moist and flavorful. I appreciate the variety. This isn't the same old-same old.

“Stone Way Cafe was one of those spots I followed on Instagram long before I finally got the chance to visit. Known for their breakfast burritos, I made my way there on a sunny Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m. It was easy to find free street parking just a few blocks away, but as expected, there was already a line of 15+ people out the door. It’s clear the staff have a solid process down, because we only had to wait about 15 mins for our order.

My friend and I each ordered the sausage breakfast burrito, a side of potatoes, a matcha oat milk latte, and their special coconut cold brew. The burritos were generously sized and packed with flavor. We didn't realize they already came with potatoes inside, so the extra side of potatoes ended up being a bit much which was good to know for next time. Towards the end, my burrito was pretty oily but that makes sense since it was sausage. Both drinks were solid, but nothing to write home about.

I really appreciated that the restaurant offered a variety of hot sauces -- sriracha, Valentino's, and Tapatío -- which is essential for me when it comes to breakfast. Prices were fair for Seattle, especially considering the portion sizes and quality. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot year-round.

Next time I'm in the area, I'd love to swing by for lunch -- their other food and drink items looked just as tempting!“

“Really great little local family restaurant! We found it near our Airbnb on a recent trip and tried it. The space itself is unremarkable and small, but clean and friendly. The staff were great and there was a constant flow of folks picking up to go orders and staff running out to deliver orders. I know why - the food was excellent!“

“They have different types of original cheese cakes such as green tea cheese cake, Sakura or houji-cha cheese cake, as well as Coconut Dacquoise roll. Soft, equisite, and delicious pastries melt in your mouth with each bite.
The price is high, and the interior isn't anything special. It's worth to taste their pastries at least once if you never tried them before, but I wouldn't come back.“

“Frank's is my favorite place in town to get oysters on the half-shell. The vibe is warm, relaxed, and welcoming. The bread with ash butter and sea salt is a favorite. The oysters are fresh, plump, and succulent. The champagne mignonette is flavorful and delicate so as not to outdo the oysters. We tried a seasonal dessert: nectarine, rose, and pistachio pavlova. Everything is delicious. Finally, the service is impeccable. We always feel special when we are here and we can't wait to visit again soon!“

“Unique old garage atmosphere, dark and dirty with somewhat community seating. There are many beers on tap which super fun at order time. The staff is happy to pour samples and is prepared for the asks. However, the samples are so small that they are worthless unless you are a tasting pro or just trying to distinguish between a stout and a Pilsner. If your whole existance is varieties in tap beers, samples are part of the business. Embrace that and ensure customer experience is part of the package. Every time I get samples, I get the rushed feeling. Here's your 2 drop sample, suck it down and give me your order. I come here for the ~40 beer tap selection; it's part of the fun! Sampling adds to the experience and prices are high enough that I want to enjoy my beers.

I like dinner with my beers and the food trucks are mostly good, but one is always limited to that one truck. The location doesn't lend itself to other options.“
