“Emily and the other barista on bar Saturday morning were absolutely lovely!! My drink didn’t taste right the first time and Emily very kindly remade it. The second drink also tasted off, and Emily noticed and asked if she could remake it again. The other barista made my drink and it was lovely- I think it was likely an issue with the espresso machine as Emily made it correctly both times. Both baristas were absolutely lovely and I appreciated their kindness in going above and beyond to make the moment right for me.“

It makes me feel obligated or guilty if I say no. This is a huge corporation that can give raises if they feel their employees deserve more.“

They are unassuming on the menu - I assumed they were simple cold-case sandwiches, which I tend to avoid - but was so impressed when we tried them one day and discovered they're fresh-made, warmed and full of great ingredients, pestos and tomatoes and whatnot. I get the Med Chicken pretty regularly now. They also have a really great breakfast sandwich - I get sausage on a bagel with egg and cheddar, and it's really good. They use cafe Umbria, which is my favorite roaster, so that's a win for me. They make a great mocha, a great London fog, and the service is always good. Now that we have a little boy - who the owners love, and he loves them - we appreciate the lobby that's so easily accessible next door that he can run around in. The coffee shop itself is also very comfortable and always a relaxing place to sit and enjoy.“

“My husband and I went to Artisan's Books and Coffee on a date tonight and were delighted to meet the owner, Judy, as well as a number of lovely customers who were enjoying the evening's crafting event. The food was good, and we both enjoyed having a Huckleberry scrub (a mocktail sipping drink) made with local ingredients. This is a wonderful place to go and just "be." There is no hurry and you can relax and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and conversation around you. 10 out of 10 would recommend. I will definitely be back!“

Back home, this drink is one of our local coffee shops halloween specials but we order it year around it is so good. I ordered one from the Buffalo Espresso today & it was perfect.
