“Best Ethiopian food I've had in a while, and everyone is so nice! The food is fresh and even the cheese is made the same day! I'm definitely going to come back here ❤️”
“Literally the best tacos and birria I've ever had. Their rice and especially their beans are also addictive, they taste homemade with tons of love, just like everything else on their menu. Our family is so happy we found this restaurant, and we're regular weekly customers, the place never disappoints. The staff is also extremely kind, hard working and very friendly.”
“We came for dinner tonight and we were greeted with the welcoming staff and their smiles. That set the stage for the evening. We started off with virgin mojito. It was refreshing and tasty. Then we ordered the mojito platter for appetizer which included the yucca fries, tostones and fried plantains. For entrees we had camarones Carmen Miranda, vaca frita and pescado mojito. Every single dish we tried were so perfectly seasoned, beautifully plated and delicious. You can tell that each dish is made with love. The flavors in each dish will remind you of a destination so far away, a culture represented in its food. We finished off our meal with the desserts, quesillo and tres leches. Both were delicious as well. I highly recommend this place. We will be back to try the rest of the dishes in their menu. This is a hidden gem. Luam, the owner is an amazing host, he’s the owner. He made sure that we had an unforgettable dining experience.”
“This establishment is a staple in Snohomish. It is breakfast and lunch. I have been eating here for many many years. And I will say this, the only thing I've ever eaten here is their breakfast! And the breakfast I have ordered the most without question is the Farmer's special! It is biscuits and gravy with sausage patties and eggs that also comes with bacon. It is THE breakfast I think about when I go out for breakfast. The staff is friendly and professional. The parking can be a little tough and sometimes you have to wait for a seat but it is the best place for breakfast around in my opinion.”
“I had a FABULOUS nonalcoholic cocktail, the name escapes me, but it was definitely the best NA I've ever had. The mouthfeel resembled real alcohol. Very impressive. My butternut squash soup was very flavorful, but for my tastes was a bit too thick. My date's cauliflower steak was not tender, but otherwise tasty. The management did not end up charging him for it, which was commendable.I would definitely return to try their steaks and more cocktails!”
“Good beer, great atmosphere, lots of outdoor seating. Good is provided by a truck outside. Dog and kid friendly. Parking can be challenging at times. Definitely more of a place to go with a group than a singles or date place.”
“Our go to for lunch date with my husband! I generally go for their house chicken and my husband goes for their crispy chicken. All the staff there are so friendly and welcoming!! I love their smiles :) They suggested that I go with the pico on the side and mix it with rice plus their cilantro sauce. Life has never been the same after that. It's a definite must if you try! Absolutely delicious!!!”
“Excellent experience! Can’t go wrong with a meal where everything is made from scratch. Had shrimp curry and the sauce was amazing. Appreciate that nothing in our meal was cooked in oil, grease or fat. The naan is worth the wait. Will definitely go back!”
“The food is amazing every time! They were super busy and we had to wait for a table, but food is worth it. The only draw back was the air conditioning was turned way up and it was freezing! Wish I had a coat. The one is so nice!”
“Busy place, lots and lots of drinks. The restaurant ajoins two other shops. There is an open-air patio with ample seating. This place can get very busy on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Expect slower service during busy times.”
“This team is the absolute best! They helped us surprise our daughter for her birthday! We flew in from out of state and posed as scoopers! She was so surprised! Thanks Sarah, Evan & the Kirkland Team!”
“Excellent coffee Unmatched atmosphere Mature and professional staff Honestly, it’s the best boutique coffee shop I know of in Seattle. Hope to see you on the other side of all this Santo Coffee Co!”
“Very fun with a group of friends and food was amazing! Every body has fun sitting around chatting and joking and trying all sorts of combos of food. I had the kimchi broth and added all sorts of veggies and mushrooms to the beef I put in it. It was delicious! I wish our server had come around more often so we could order more items. Other than that very much looking forward to coming back!”
“Another reels recommendation. Cash and Venmo onlyWe live in issaquah so this place is quite the trek. My partner was particularly drawn in by the oversized roll with a variety of fish.Maybe I picked the wrong menu items, but overall not sure what the hype is about. The oversized roll is 30$+ so it’s not like it’s cheaper on a per serving basis. The fish was also so cold to the point where it hurt my teeth to eat (I do have sensitive teeth, but I’ve never had trouble with sushi before). Having so many different fish in a roll meant I couldn’t actually taste the individual flavors very well. I’m also not a fan of raw green onions paired with sushi. The other rolls also weren’t anything special. We got a scallop nigiri which was good tho.Overall probably won’t be driving an hour to come here again.”
“I had a hard time deciding what to order from the menu because everything sounded so amazing. Went with the Albuquerque crunch wrap and it surpassed any expectations I could have had for it. I’m sure the rest of the menu follows suit. Highly recommend trying this place”
“Update: OMG you have to try Zereshkpolo and cornish hen kabob. Fantastic service as alwaysVery good kabobs, very nice service. One of the best persian kabob places in Seattle”
“Fantastic food, the gumbo was some of the best. Halibut was very good, but small portions for the amount for what it cost. Black eye pea stew was terrific. Good wine selection. Everything was very tasty but expensive.”
“My gf and I have been here twice. The first time, we tried the yellow curry which was fantastic. All ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Our second visit entailed trying the pad see ew with chicken and gyoza, both of which being the most flavorful and delicious we've ever had. The noodles were properly marinated and the broccoli had a pepper taste which complimented it very well. To wash it all down, we had thai iced coffee which was the smoothest and perfect amount of sweetness we've ever had. We're ecstatic to try the fried rice options next time. This is now my go-to Thai restaurant after searching for four years!”
“Wow, this place has great wraps.Chops is set up for fast service and self-serve for ordering. You walk in place an order with the server or do it yourself on the ordering screen.Picnic tables are set up.Chops is definitely "casual. It's a small restaurant that packs a punch for fast, delicious wraps. They have more choices on their menu I have not tried yet.Parking: Open parking, lots of space.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible right in front of the restraunt.”
“I had a GREAT falafel plate today with generous portions of falafel, salad and hummus all homemade and delicious! I also had wonderful pistachio baklava which I took home for later! I will be going back to this great little cafe again!! I highly recommend Gryo Guys Halal Grill!!”
“Randomly stopped in to meet friends. So beyond impressed. Everything was outstanding. The food, the service, the drinks, the atmosphere, and did I mention the service. John was by far the best bartender I have ever met. I mean that in all sincerity. Next time I’m in Seattle I’ll be stopping in !”
“One of the neighborhood bars!! My mom used to hang out there and bartended for a while and that was my first time there since 2001. It was really nice, very relaxing. The atmosphere was really nice and everybody was very friendly and the bartender was great. Thank you, Mel and all the people to Caroline that ”
“We saw the high reviews for this place a while ago, and decided to stop by for dinner since we were in the area. Wow! The reviews are right. The food, and the service was AMAZING. We got the vegetarian platter(falafel and cauliflower), the dish with the kebab combo of Lamb, chicken, & beef, and two kids meals for our littles. The rice was very flavorful, the hummus was smooth and delicious. The vegetarian platter was filling and idk if I liked the falafel or the cauliflower more. The meats were very flavorful and juicy.Everyone was full and happy. There were plenty of leftovers for a second meal. Everything was worth the price, and the drive.Vegetarian options: Delicious vegetarian options”
“The Achari paneer pizza was amazing. I never thought indian food and ginger seasoning would work but it’s a wonderful twist. The man working there was super nice and welcoming. Definitely gives local family owned restaurant vibes and I’m happy to support these places. I’ll need to try the other twist pizzas. Would definitely come here again!Has a lot of options for vegetarians and they also did half and half spicy and non spicy for those who wanted a little heat. Excellent service.”
“Ahmazing service and Food! Their sushi ? is ?. I'd love to keep this hidden jewel secret... but thought I'd share their excellence! ????Kid-friendliness: Staff was very friendly And attentive to my kids. ?”
“By far the best food I had in Seattle!!!The portions are plentiful and it’s really, really delicious!!The mapo tofu is filled with very soft tofu, and as soon as you take a bite, you get a really delicious Mala flavor, and it's just a very impressive taste...? The fried chicken is warm and crispy, and the delicious seasoning is evenly coated, and it's not chewy at all, and it's just really delicious! And if you eat the noodles as is and add a lot of chili oil, it tastes really refreshing without the need for hangover soup!! It's just really delicious haha”
“Briley's BBQ in Kenmore is hands down the best barbecue joint I've ever had the pleasure of dining at. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the tantalizing aroma of smoked meats that promises an unforgettable culinary experience. The food at Briley's BBQ is simply divine. Each dish is prepared with care and expertise, resulting in flavors that dance on your palate and leave you craving more. Whether it's the perfectly tender brisket, the mouthwatering ribs, or the succulent pulled pork, every bite is a testament to the skill and dedication of the chefs. But it's not just the food that makes Briley's BBQ stand out—it's the atmosphere as well. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Whether you're dining with friends or flying solo, Briley's BBQ is the perfect spot to kick back, relax, and enjoy some damn good barbecue. In summary, if you find yourself in Kenmore and craving some top-notch barbecue, look no further than Briley's BBQ. “Recommended to us by our hotel desk clerk, who just do happens to be our daughter. Did not disappoint!!! Food was made to order. Portions were GENEROUS. Everything was hot and fresh. Really good home cooked food, biggest biscuits I've ever seen, with great local vibe. Service staff was very friendly and did an excellent job. Definitely going back!”
