Inaka Ramen

Dropped in for a light lunch. Vegetable tempura was delicious. Crispy, hot batter and tasty vegetables (today was carrot, two kinds of zucchini, taro and broccolini). Great tsuyu (dipping sauce). I grew up eating tempura made at home by my Japanese mom, so it was neat to find a place in Olympia making tempura just as good. (Sorry, mom!) Main menu ramen options looked good. I've been here several times now and it's always phenomenal. Portion sizes are a bit large so prepare for take homes, especially if you get appetizers. The food selections and customization are great, the service is warm and friendly, and there's a wonderful atmosphere of casual yet pleasant dining. Custom ramen runs at about 20 a head with drinks, so it's not a bad first date choice. If you love ramen, this is the place to go. The service was great. The food, delicious. The ONLY drawback was the earache from the pressure issued every time the door was opened. I will consider take out next time. Unfortunate because it is a cute little place.Parking: Typical downtown parking. Walking is difficult for me, but I was let out by the front door.
