“Papa would be proud. John would be crying with pride. This pizza may be the best in Vancouver and it's not even close. The cheese used rivals the best cheese that Tillamook could come up with. The crust of the pizza makes Italians jealous of what we have. Oh, and did I mention the sauce? I can hear the farmers of the Midwest applauding as papa took their fruits and squeezed it into this one of a kind creation. I WILL BE GOING BACK!“

“Thanks to the deal on their app, all of this was $5.61 instead of $11. It was my first time getting KFC in over a decade. I always had issues with the service at the Hazel Dell location years ago, but girl at the window was extremely friendly! Mostly I just wanted to try the peaches and cream Mountain Dew, which was incredible. It’s not super close to me, but I’ll be back when there’s another deal like this.“

“It has been quite a while since I’ve been to five guys, but I was in the mood for a great hamburger and a friend said let’s go to five guys, so we did. Well I have to say that I will make sure I don’t wait so long to get back there again, because that was a great lunch! And they give you so many fries, even for the small order. And it was hectic when we went for lunch, but the service was fast and the food good and there were very few mix ups. The flowering trees, the almost topiary like quality to shrub pruning, the park like lawn, etc, all made my wait time actually enjoyable! “Had two wonderful ladies take my order in the drive thru. Was talking to one of them about working 10's and how brutal it is sometimes. They forgot to grab me my French toast sticks but they immediately grabbed me new fresh ones soon as I came in. Honestly great crew, I come here all the time for a quick bite driving around doing service tech work.

“Such an amazing amount of options for all day hungers; breakfast, lunch and dinner. Have a wheat or white pita or even in a gluten free wrap. Vegan and vegetarian opinions, but also a variety for the meat carnivores. Also you can have it in a rice bowl or salad bowl. When done satisfying yourself with your meal, step next door to Yo Licious for a frozen yogurt and toppings. That makes for a happy tummy :)“

“The food is... oh so good!! We stopped by for Kaluha pork tacos & the mixed plate (kaluha pork & teriyaki chicken). The pork was flavorful, tender & delicious, probably the best I've ever had. We taste tested the clam chowder, it was equally magnificent. It's made fresh every day with potatoes, clams, & bacon. Our server, Mina, was an absolute sweetheart. She was upbeat, friendly, & very welcoming. This place is a gem! We highly recommend it.“

“I've been going to the Subway in the Safeway parking lot off 162nd for the last few years and have been disappointed every single time, honestly I don't know why I keep going back. I finally drove the extra 2 minutes to this store a few weeks ago and was blown away by the FANTASTIC quality of the sandwiches and the crew at the store.

Must be a fluke, right? Just a good day?

I've been back several times since then and have had the same amazing experience every time, I've finally been able to convince my wife to eat subway again!

Not sure if it's a matter of a different franchise or if this store is owner/operater, but there is a night and day difference between the crew and product quality at this location and most of the others in Vancouver.

“The Hazel Dell Carl's Jr. is exactly what you would expect from this chain—nothing extraordinary but nothing negative either. Its location right next to Walmart makes it very convenient, with easy access in and out, which is definitely appreciated.

The service here is efficient; the lines move quickly, and I've had great experiences with online orders through Uber Eats—they always arrive on time and fresh. I have no complaints about this location.

A special shout-out to the drive-thru staff, who have always been friendly and go out of their way to dote on my dog whenever I bring them along. It's the little touches like that which make a difference.

“The employee, Aurora was not personable. After waiting over 20 minutes, watching 6 to 8 drive thru customers receive there orders and drive away while I was still waiting for my food. I requested a refund, it was only then the manager on duty Toni B. gave a very horrible explanation regarding why the drive thru orders were being prioritized over the dine in orders. She explained it was shift change. When you work in fast food, and there are over 6 customers in the dinning area either waiting for there food or waiting to order, SHIFT CHANGE SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING! Drive thru SHOULD NOT be a priority. I will not be returning to this location, fast food is not waiting over 20 minutes for your food.“

“I used to work at Chipotle(different location) and this is the cleanest location I’ve been so far. The line looks clean every time I visit, the manager is very nice, employees are nice. The only thing preventing me from giving them a five star is the food portions, I know they have a very strict rule when it comes to portions but sometimes when I get my bowl from here it doesn’t even look a like a full bowl, more like a partial bowl filled. I often have to ask for just a little bit of more rice and meat when I come. Other than that it’s a great location.“
