“We happened upon this little gem purely by accident because we needed to use the restroom on our way from Roy to Tacoma. I always feel bad asking to use the restroom at a business establishment without buying something, so I checked out the menu and, when I saw they had a sandwich called Ellie's Garden, I knew I had to order it in honor of my youngest granddaughter, Eleanore. The sandwich was phenomenal! I shared it with my daughter and we found ourselves wishing we each had a whole sandwich. We definitely will be returning to sample more of the goodies Blue Steele has to offer!“

“Came here for brunch at 10am to celebrate my Birthday. I wasn’t expecting to have such a personable experience and to be greeted by the owner. We ordered the hash and the French toast. Both dishes were superb and we loved how the food was plated. Everything looked so full and rich, that it just makes your mouth water. Shawn Tibbits even gave us a tour of his kitchen and it was amazing to hear his story and that he strives for sustainability and zero waste. We really support those practices and Alaskan mentality. I can’t wait to eat here again!“

“Just went there for the first time and we were super impressed with how fast our food came out! I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was hands down the best breakfast burrito I have ever had, normally places have way too much eggs in them but not here! Perfect! Great coffee too. Our waitress was super kind and cool as well!

“The Red Hot is one of Tacoma’s best beer spots. The food is good, great selection of beers, and the service is top notch. Particularly our favorite bartender Elliott, who is such a mensch. He knows the kind of beer I like and is always Johnny on the spot with a great recommendation. My wife thinks he’s super cute, I cannot say, but I’ll take her word for it. He does always smell good, I’ll give him that. Except once when he smelled rather strongly of sauerkraut but that was the result of a rather unfortunate mishap with a 5 gallon bucket of sauerkraut which was entirely outside of his control. He can also spit mad rhymes but only after a few strong IPA’s. Anyway, go check out The Red Hot and if you get Elliott as a server, drop a phat beat on him and watch what he can do.“

“Each time I go here I get the spicy tonkotsu ramen. The char siu is perfectly grilled so you can taste the carmelization. It is bad etiquette to take out your phone when there's hot ramen on the table so I don't have photos, but trust me.“

“This is a very solid Asian fusion style restaurant with a strong takeout presence. They have a descent menu but their Vietnamese food tends to be better than their Chinese Food. The souper salad is a nice option if you are looker for a liter option but still strong flavors.
One of the biggest draw back is they continue to have health department with Okay and or needs improvement ratings.“

“1st let me say..had food twice, once from order service and other in person. Both times the service and food were great! The manager is very nice and respectful along with the staff. The funny differences from other sushi restaurants are the fact you have to order everything by QR code ( so if you want a mobile device free night..not gonna happen) and your order comes via a robot! Now that I found funny because I kept on despite directions from the “robot waitress” trying to take food from the other shelves until I got used to things. Speaking on getting “used to”..try maybe 1 or 2 times order something small to get used to how the quantities are served. My friend meant to only get 2 of something and ended up with 3 and I had to eat the extra 1 for respect of the dining rules “whatever is left when you are done you must pay for”. Now the “all you can eat” bit. Please understand that the food here is really good and that they offer quite a unique variety of items to try and eat. That is the meaning of the “all you can eat” here. This is not a legit “all you can eat” restaurant . For $30 you are getting way good quality..so do you want good quality or high quantity? In this tight market you can’t really get both. So please be mindful & respectful of this. They do sadly have techniques to let you know when you are reaching “their” maximum..and after much thought…I can respect that. Overall the food, service and everything else was excellent. I ate mostly the sashimi which I thought tasted fresh and buttery when needed to be and when ate rolls I had the rolls that were cooked and those were handled expertly. My friends had the coconut shrimp which was the favorite for them and such like items. One said the ribs were tough and the fried rice was too hard. Overall I will return and be more “menu venturing “ knowing that there is actually a limit. Again..out of respect, please respect quality over quantity.“

“This German/Polish spot seems to have fully embraced its feature on Guy Fieri's Food Network, and while the vibe can feel a bit themed because of it, the food largely delivers. I started with the Goulash soup, and it was fantastic—perfectly salty, savory, and chunky. It's the exact kind of hearty, filling soup you'd crave on a cold winter evening. For my entree, I had Bruno's Schnitzel. The fried pork cutlet itself was tasty, but I felt it could have really used a sauce to elevate it. It came with excellent Spätzle and gravy, plus some wonderfully seasoned steamed cabbage. Everything was great, and I'm glad I stopped by. It's a solid choice, especially given its convenient location. Overall, a very good 4 out of 5.“

“The OPH organization is absolutely wonderful. My daughter and I are visiting WA and ate at the Bothell location. My daughter purchased a forever coffee mug but left it on the table when we left. We contacted the Manager, Cameron, and he was absolutely amazing with coordinating the pick up of the mug at another location. We arrived at the Tacoma location to pick up the mug and eat lunch. The Manager, Alan, was anticipating our arrival and welcomed us with a big smile. He brought us the mug and for the remainder of our visit both our server Jorge and Manager Alan were very attentive. They checked on us regularly and made us feel like VIPs. Thank you to the OPH team for making our experience memorable. Amazing customer service. We will be back, Alan! “They have the BEST burgers and fries! Their fries are unique with a crunchy outer texture. Amazing shakes also. Quick, professional and friendly service. Seating inside their heated hip bus or at their outdoor picnic tables. Been going here for years. Been to many burger places throughout WA but, Lucky's is one of my all time go to favorites.“
