He helped us figure out food options for some of our vegan crew, was very thoughtful and organized, and even confirmed with kitchen staff they could handle the order for us. They did this at closing on a busy night, which was even more appreciated. The food was on time and delicious!“

“It is such a sweet little shop. I love going there, it feels like a throw back to simpler times. They carry a lot of the old time favorites candies that you haven't seen in years and thought they stoped making. The owner are part of the charm as well.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Port Angeles Hospitality Done Right Next Door Gastro Pub was absolutely buzzing when I stopped in, but you’d never know it by how smoothly everything was running. Huge shoutout to Ania, my bartender/server, who deserves an 11/10 rating all by herself. From the Cherry Potter to the Bay Breeze, the drinks were fantastic. Even with the place packed, she still took the time to listen to one of my random little stories and even check out a photo I showed her. That level of attention when things are that busy is pretty impressive. What really stood out though was the entire team. Every server I saw was hustling, helping each other, and still making customers feel welcome. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the staff actually enjoys working together, and that energy makes the whole place feel like home. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and even better people. Next Door Gastro Pub is doing Port Angeles proud. Highly recommend.“

The service was next-level amazing: attentive, fun, and totally made the night. Now let’s talk FOOD. I had the fresh halibut, my husband had the stuffed halibut, and my sister ordered the grilled salmon. Every bite was chef’s kiss 🤌✨ Delicious, perfectly cooked, zero notes. I was stuffed… but still ordered the crème brûlée to go because self-control is overrated and it was absolutely worth it. And listen—don’t judge me—but I half-jokingly asked for some tartar sauce. They didn’t have any… so Chuck casually ran next door to Hook & Line Pub to get some. I mean??? THAT is elite service. Obviously I had to eat it 😂 Amazing food, incredible staff, and service that goes way above and beyond. If you haven’t been to Kokopelli’s yet, what are you even doing?“

“My young kids and I came in after a long morning of hiking. We were all exhausted and starving, but the staff were above and beyond in their grace towards my boys. They were slow and out of something I asked for on my sandwich, so she offered to pick it up from the store if I didn’t mind the wait. The sandwiches were incredible, and my son informed me that their bread was better than mine, so of course I had to buy a loaf to take with us. All around, it was the best experience I’ve had in a restaurant with my struggling boys. Also the cheapest meal we have had while visiting the Olympic Peninsula“

“View is phenomenal! Staff was kind but not very attentive, seemed they were spread thin even w only half the establishment full for breakfast on a Tuesday. Servings were plentiful! Very good flavor, presentation was beautiful! My toast was a little too burnt crispy but eggs, potatoes, and pancakes were great.“

“This is an old-school, locally owned place that is just a delight. The staff are super nice and the food is fresh and tasty. I rate a pizza place based on the quality of their dough, and Gordy's is excellent. The prices are also very reasonable. I'll definitely be back with my family.“

“This place is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. However, the service at your bar on this past Sunday (solstice) was appalling bad. Bartender was visibly intoxicated on something, completely absent, food took forever and it was subpar. Our chowder was as thick as sour cream. It should have not been served. I totally understand you are closing down for the season but if you can’t execute some quality of food and service then just shut it down.“
