“I rarely eat at Applebee’s, but the staff at the South Hill Mall location just earned a regular customer for life.
During a chaotic, busy holiday shift, a customer at a nearby table lost her mind—screaming, throwing her plate, and verbally abusing the staff. The server, Krystal, and the manager, Pamela, handled this volatile situation with an unbelievable level of grace, dignity, and cool-headed professionalism. Pamela fiercely protected her server, defused the chaos, and even took time to comfort another guest who was left shaken up by the scene.
It is rare to see such outstanding leadership and composure under pressure. Krystal and Pamela are absolute rockstars and a massive asset to this company. Give these women a raise!“

“Came here to watch the USA v Australia FIFA game, first time coming here and could not be happier! Staff is sensational, very attentive and friendly. Food is hands down some of the best bar food in the area, the burgers are awesome! Plenty of TVs, outside area too. Highly recommend, perfect spot for sports and will absolutely be back for future games.“

“Great service. Jim was friendly and attentive. Food was fresh and high quality. Housemade sauces and pizza crust. Fish and chips were very good, the best I've had in the area. Atmosphere was clean and smelled good. Many TVs. They have the Sunday Ticket during football season. Large selection of pull tabs. Comfortable, sturdy seating.“

“Great scene for a game or hangout. 15+ TV’s, WiFi, booths and high tops. Kitchen was great and the serving sizes are big and appropriately priced. Ton of beer taps.

“Been here a few times, both times I did take out. The host Ashley was super patient and polite, I brought my uncle who was rather confused but Ashley was more than helpful in getting us familiar with the menu. Pick up time and customer service was exceptional, food was also great.“

“Sumner FARELLI'S Is our Favorite. Great atmosphere and the Staff is TOPS !! Our favorite waiter Taylor is the Best...friendly smile and always has a moment to say HI. And if we are fortunate enough to sit in his section, he takes very good care of us. HIGHLY RECOMM3ND !! The Pizza, Appetizers and The Dad's Salad are Fab. The RANCH ... omg , no words ❤️❤️“

“Kitchen is open till at least 11pm. Karaoke on Saturdays 9pm-1am is always a blast and enjoyable to watch even if you are not a singer. Lots of variety seating. Several TV's to watch the sports games on.“

“Five stars for Shonda, the bartender at Spar Pole Bar & Grill in Sumner. She was attentive and made sure I had everything I needed, but she wasn’t overbearing. She’d check in every so often to see how things were going, or if she noticed something on my face that didn’t look right, she’d ask if everything was okay. She really made the experience great. The atmosphere here is awesome and the prices are just right.“

“I used to go there alot after divorced for about year and then I haven't been back for year and when I decide to go out for dinner for myself I choose this place because really close to home and I still remember young blonde bartender and she still remember what I used to order for food and I tell you what I was very impressed with her memories! Thank you for your service young lady and you do make us feel welcome.“

“This is fun when you want more than just a meal and everybody in your group has a different idea of what counts as a good time. It is very easy to turn a quick stop into a whole evening here because there is always something to do. You go in thinking food first and maybe a couple games and then suddenly it has been two hours and someone is taking air hockey more personally than the situation requires. The mix of food, games, and general chaos works better than it should. That is probably the magic of a place like this. It gives you enough structure that nobody has to make a plan but enough going on that the night does not feel flat. I would absolutely bring the kids here on a energy day, though my son would need a little pregame speech about indoor voice versus arcade excitement and how those are not in fact the same setting. It is the kind of place that can carry a birthday, a casual group outing, or just a random night when nobody wants to sit still. Go when you want dinner plus something to do and do not feel like overthinking it.“
