“This feels like a hidden gem? The food and service were good. We had complimentary hot tea, hard to enjoy on a warm day but welcomed. I ordered the garlic eggplant, water boiled fish, and one of the lamb dish that had onions. Everything came out so delicious and as I expected from previous sichuanese restaurant experiences. The food is served family style on a large plate with one serving spoon. It can be difficult to eat the food with chopsticks as it gets oily real quick but they provide a spoon upon request. I would love to come back as often as possible if I were closer. It's also pretty affordable for the amount of food received.“

“As someone who has low spice tolerance the spicy food were not very good but my parents thought they tasted good. The duck was okay but not my personal favorite. I really liked the sweet and sour pork though. I strongly suggest the sweet and sour pork for people with a low spice tolerance and likes tomatoes (kinda taste like tomatoes)“

“I really love this Szechuan restaurant! I’m not someone who can usually handle very spicy food, but here I can always find dishes with just the right level of heat. They recently introduced some new items on the menu, and I absolutely enjoyed them — so flavorful! The atmosphere is great and the service is friendly. I’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends!“

“Dined in but I think this is a 5 star for takeout and will likely reassess. 4 star for dine in.
Order on tablets but the waitresses were still nice and recommended dishes.
Had the chicken fried rice and the pickled pepper beef. The fried rice was the standout. Huge portion, great price, excellent flavor. 10/10. Really liked the pickled pepper beef, without the peppers it would have fallen flat but they added a nice tang.“

“Very authentic and flavorful chinese cuisine. Helpful bilingual waiters proactively offered discounts and cash to make up for their perceived “bad service”, though in truth the only problem with the service was they sometimes took a while to bring the food during busy stretches. Would get again, nice vibes for late night dinner with a chinese friend.“

“If you can deal with the wait, then this is the place to go for Chinese food. We've been long time customers here. We've ordered many different dishes here and we really liked them all. However, if you come during busy time, then you may need to order then go shop around until the time. We really like the lady server here even we don't speak the language. We don't feel being discriminated at all - it's all up to the way you treat people. The food was plentiful and we usually have to eat two or three meals to finish.“

“Yang’s Kitchen never disappoints! The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions that leave you satisfied but still excited to come back. As someone who loves trying new dishes, I really appreciate how their menu gets updated at just the right pace—there’s always something fresh to discover.
My recent favorites are the 凉拌马兰头 (Cold Tossed Indian Aster)—light, fragrant, and perfectly seasoned—and the 东北锅包肉 (Northeastern Sweet & Sour Pork), which is crispy, tangy, and so addictive. And of course, my all-time favorite remains their stir-fried vegetables and noodles—simple yet packed with flavor.
Plus, they now offer dim sum in the early hours, which makes it the perfect spot for a weekend morning treat. This place balances consistency with creativity so well. Highly recommend!“
