Try the honey butter biscuit fried chicken sandwich, with some hot sauce, your soul will thank you. Much love to all of the staff there, y'all have saved my behind and fed my soul, more than I care to admit.“

“If you are looking for the ultimate comfort food in Seattle, this is it. Mr. Waffle has easily become my top must-visit spot in the city. The waffles are fantastic for breakfast, a midday snack, or any time of day you get a craving.
The casual cafe atmosphere is great, and they have an awesome mix of both savory and sweet options—including chicken and waffles—plus unique, chewy mochi waffles. Everything is perfectly made and hits the spot. I'll definitely be back every time I'm in town!“

“My long overdue review comes down to 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ words: Best Taiyaki Comfort Food Ever‼️‼️💯🥰😋😍 Need I say more? . Taiyaki, a popular Japanese fish-shaped pastry, has an interesting history rooted in the Edo period's imagawayaki, a round pancake filled with sweet red bean paste. The modern version of taiyaki was invented in 1909 during the Meiji era by Seijirō Kanbei, who owned a sweets shop called Naniwaya in Tokyo . Seeking to create a unique twist on imagawayaki, he used a mold shaped like a sea bream (tai in Japanese), a fish symbolizing good fortune. The delightful combination of its distinctive shape and delicious taste quickly made taiyaki a favorite across Japan, often sold by street vendors and enjoyed at festivals . Over time, taiyaki evolved to include various fillings such as custard, chocolate, cheese, sweet potato, and even savory options, and in BeanFish case, MmmBacon 😍😋🥰, though the iconic fish shape remains. Today, taiyaki has spread globally, becoming a beloved treat in many countries and appreciated for its nostalgic charm and the enjoyable experience of biting into its crispy exterior to reveal a warm, sweet filling!!! 🍥🥮🫘“

“I had a great experience at Happy Lemon! The drinks were super fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. Their signature lemon drinks have the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and the boba is always soft and chewy. The staff was friendly, patient, and quick even during the busy rush. The store was clean, bright, and had a fun, welcoming vibe.
If you love good-quality boba or want something refreshing, I definitely recommend stopping by Happy Lemon. I’ll be coming back for sure!“

“Super cute cafe. All the employees were very inviting, the menu is amazing and everything is so worth it.
They didn’t have any skinny lotus, only regular lotus but one of the staff told me people ask for it all the time so they will start stocking it 😁“

“I’ve been to many Happy Lemon locations in different states, but Seattle is always the best. I don’t know if it’s something with the water or the temperature here, but their bubble waffles always come out just right, crispy, fluffy, never soggy or burnt like some other locations.
One thing you should always do: add the salt cheese dip with the waffles. It’s basically the peanut butter and jelly combo of Happy Lemon. Sweet, salty, creamy, and so addictive.“

“Heard this place changed owners recently and the rumors are true, it’s way better now. The drinks actually come out fast and they don't skimp on the toppings anymore. Got the new Ube coconut Thai tea and it was so good, not too sweet, and more importantly, it pleased my taste buds. Super nice staff, too. Will be back!“
