“My favorite bar in Tacoma. I was looking for a place to watch a huskies game last season and no bars were showing it since the game was on the Peacock app. The manager let me cast my phone to the TV and other huskies fans started rolling in to watch not long after. Love this place.“

“Came here for brunch at 10am to celebrate my Birthday. I wasn’t expecting to have such a personable experience and to be greeted by the owner. We ordered the hash and the French toast. Both dishes were superb and we loved how the food was plated. Everything looked so full and rich, that it just makes your mouth water. Shawn Tibbits even gave us a tour of his kitchen and it was amazing to hear his story and that he strives for sustainability and zero waste. We really support those practices and Alaskan mentality. I can’t wait to eat here again!“

“The Ultima margarita is my favorite margarita on the planet and the Butternut Squash enchiladas are divine. The mole is sooooo good. Love this spot and have been ordering the same thing from Cactus for over ten years starting at their Alki location. So glad they came to Tacoma!“

“I ordered the banana bread French toast and it was absolutely worth it! The bacon was thick, salty, and hearty—just the way it should be. The French toast itself was dense, moist, filling, and delicious. Fair warning: it’s a rich breakfast that might leave you ready for a nap afterward, but in the best way possible. If you’re looking for a standout breakfast entrée, I highly recommend the banana bread French toast!“

“The food was absolutely delicious! But to our surprise, the service was even more amazing. The lovely Ms Han was so patient and delightful with my sister, her 3yr old, and me. She was so accommodating and made dining in with a hungry, tired toddler so lovely! My niece adored her and slurped down the noodles in delight. “I've been coming here for years. The breakfast menu is just as amazing as the lunch and dinner menu, and the rotating specials always give me something new to try. Not to mention I even had the best Thanksgiving dinner of my life here.
In top of that, great beer on tap, and a giant whiskey collection to experiment with.“

“Each time I go here I get the spicy tonkotsu ramen. The char siu is perfectly grilled so you can taste the carmelization. It is bad etiquette to take out your phone when there's hot ramen on the table so I don't have photos, but trust me.“

“This is by far the best BBQ in Western WA. Everything is good. Portion sizes are great and prices are reasonable. We drive an hour just to get great BBQ. We have met people who drove 3 hours to just eat the excellent BBQ. They also have vegetarian options.“

Even though there was a big crowd they looked relaxed. You didn't feel rushed. A great place to enjoy delicious food.“

“Just went there for the first time and we were super impressed with how fast our food came out! I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was hands down the best breakfast burrito I have ever had, normally places have way too much eggs in them but not here! Perfect! Great coffee too. Our waitress was super kind and cool as well!

“This restaurant is top 3 lunch/dinner spots in the state. I eat here at least once a week. Food is always prepared perfectly, prices are fair and competitive, and the staff are kind and engaging. I bring my kids also and they have a great kids meal that even my picky toddlers will finish. Recommend the lunch time specials- food portions are large.“

Vegetarian options: The spicy green pizza and original Margarita are both filled with flavorful sauces, the pizza dough is full of the sweet almost savory flavor of wheat, mixed with melted mozzarella on top yum.“

“This is a very solid Asian fusion style restaurant with a strong takeout presence. They have a descent menu but their Vietnamese food tends to be better than their Chinese Food. The souper salad is a nice option if you are looker for a liter option but still strong flavors.
One of the biggest draw back is they continue to have health department with Okay and or needs improvement ratings.“

“Locals put me onto this stop while I was in town. The lady who runs this place is very nice.
Best Teriyaki I've had. They don't play around with their lunch size. I ordered a Mango Milk Tea with Rainbow Jelly to drink. It's more of a smoothie than a milk tea, but it's delicious.
Not sure what lunch runs around Tacoma, but $20 for this felt like a solid deal.“
