Love Aburiya. Incredible quality and variety, great service, and kind owners. Even though it’s very close to Pike Place, it surprisingly is never as busy as I’d expect it to be.
Aburiya is a Japanese restaurant close to Belltown and the market. Parking here can be terrible so be prepared to walk. Inside they have about a dozen tables plus some hightop seating. Their menu isn't massive but they do a bunch of things pretty well. The salmon bento box is my favorite, a little of everything and good quality fish. The staff are great, very friendly and helpful plus always around. Portion sizes for the price of the bentos are great, it's a good lunch spot.

Recommended dishes include the Aburiya Roll, Lion Roll, Aburi Nigiri, and Aburi Bento, which come with complimentary miso soup and house salad. The restaurant offers a cute and intimate atmosphere, perfect for dates or meetups with friends. The friendly and attentive staff provide excellent customer service. The boxes are really cute and high quality, and everything ordered was tasty. The nigiri lunch special option is fairly good value for the lunch and the presentation was nice.
