“Went there today for first time to get bagels for the office. We got the rosemary sea salt bagels. What a wonderful blend of flavors on the perfect bagel-crisp on the outside and soft inside. Will be going back to try other flavors!“

“DO NOT BUY THEIR LOX!!! The bagels at Hey Bagels are our favorite in Seattle. That said, I bought their lox for the first time today and it was disgusting. It literally tasted like mold and didn’t even taste like salmon. I couldn’t spot it out fast enough and it was the worst excuse for lox that I’ve ever tried in my life. As a 60 year old Jew from NY, I have eaten a lot of lox. The employee also charged me for one more bialy than I ordered (didn’t put an extra one in my bag just overcharged me). Long story short, great place for bagels but be sure to check your receipt and avoid their NASTY lox!“

“I give Oxbow 4 stars due to the price. $4.50 for a small slice of pizza, and almost $13 for a loaf of sourdough is tough to want to pay. Unfortunately it seems like the price issue is Seattle wide, which is a shame considering in places like NYC you can get a pizza slice twice the size for half the price. The pizza itself was fine, but the crust was great! Additionally, the sourdough is very good! Staff was friendly and the bakery is clean and spacious.“

“I have been to Seattle many times to visit the North West Washington area, after discovering Old Salt on Google a few months ago I was putting this on my bucket list for the next time I was back. Needless to say we were not disappointed. This place is amazing and was well deserved the visit from Texas.“

“Zylberschtein's catered my son's bar mitzvah luncheon and did an amazing job! The food was delicious, there was PLENTY of it and the Zylberschtein's team did all of the set-up & clean up, making it effortless for me. Working with their team before & during the event was also very easy. Highly recommend them for your catering needs! 🙌✡️🥯🔯🫶“

“I had heard that Eltana makes good bagels. Now that I have tried them for myself, I must respectfully disagree. "Good" is a word used to describe, for example, a bagel that you might enjoy having for breakfast. At a stretch, perhaps even a breakfast you would fondly anticipate while thinking about it the night before. These are not "good" bagels. These are dangerous bagels. These are profound bagels. These are fugitive toric avatars from some fragrant and crispy celestial realm. I should have ordered more. - C“

“I've had bagels and cream cheese here before, which have always been super delicious. But today I tried the bulgogi bagel sandwich, and it may honestly be the single best sandwich I've ever eaten! Also the folks who run the shop are so friendly and thoughtful -- really wonderful people! Add this shop as a must try if you're visiting the market. And if, like me, you work here, add it to your go-to list for breakfast or lunch.
Edited to add: also try the cupbop! No bagels involved but a super delicious Korean lunch (and it left me enough leftovers for a snack later)!“

“Ok, first I would like to say that I love the PNW yet, after living here for 44 years, I miss New York Pizza, Pastrami sandwiches, the Brooklyn Dodgers (ok, that dates me) and bagels. I don’t care if people swear that their very favorite bagels are the best, if they aren’t from Eltana, they are not authentic. Eltana’s bagels are chewy, the right size(not gigantic and merely a circle of bread), well seasoned, boiled in honey water before baking and a throwback to my youth in NY. My Dad worked at a bagel bakery in NY for a short while and brought home the best bagels. Eltana bagels makes me think of those bagels. I am so glad we found you, Eltana. We love your delivery service, too.“

“My mom, my friend, and I went here for the first time this morning and we were not disappointed. The bagels were super good, the staff was extremely friendly and patient with us while we decided. There was plenty of open seating and we found a table with ease. We will definitely be coming here again the next time we stay in Seattle!!“

“Anchor and Bloom Café is such a gem! The lox bagel was fresh and delicious, the mango smoothie was perfectly sweet and refreshing, and the rose latte was smooth and fragrant. The service was warm and friendly, and the view made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!“

“3.8/5 For a Seattle bagel it was pretty good, the salt bagel seemed to be lacking salt and the scallion cream cheese tasted good but had a weird texture. If I was anywhere but Seattle I’d hate this bagel but it’s not NY/NJ so it’ll do. Would like to try to other flavors since they missed the mark on this one.“

“Many of their house made bagels are marked as vegan. They have house made vegan plain cream cheese (tofu based) and vegan butter. The vegan sausage sandwich is what I always get. It’s Just egg and Impossible sausage with an unspecified vegan cheese. The cheese doesn’t seem to melt well but it’s still good. It’s not a unique bagel sandwich (can be easily made at home) but I like it. They can customize some of their sandwiches and they have avocado and other veggies. They also have hot sauce packets which I appreciate. Being able to get vegan savory breakfast with other non vegans is always a plus for me. I feel like the options for vegans are usually a gluten free, vegan baked good at most breakfast places. They also have a French toast bagel that’s vegan but I’m not a sweet bagel person so I have not tried it.“

“Been here five times at least and have been waiting to write this review to get a good average of visits in beforehand. The food is really good. The place is really nice. I am picky in terms of my bagels as im from the East coast. And these bagels do hold up. The only issue that I am having is that no matter what my order is never correct. I’m not sure why- I don’t know what to do about it. I put everything in the comments or explain what I want in person when I order. But my bagel is never toasted no matter how I ask. Which in most situations wouldn’t bother me except for the fact this is a $20 bagel. Would love to keep coming back here- but I just don’t want to be disappointed again.
Update:
I have since gone back to this location to try it again and see how it goes. After this last visit I have come to the realization that it seems that we have different tastes and perspectives in regards to what toasted is. Good news- he has been trying to get my order right. It just so happens that for me I like my bagels toasted to browning on both sides while he prefers a lightly toasted setting. I plan to apologize to him the next time I come in. He tried to make it right for me and even upgraded my friends sandwich to a whole from a half. I appreciate all his hard work. Thank you for making my bagels sorry im so picky 😓“

“Solid lox sandwich, but not sure if it's $18 good. Maybe that's just the way of the world at this point. I'm originally from the Northeast (upper right) where good bagels are ubiquitous. I do have to say that these bagels are very good. Pricey, but good. The guy working the window seemed like he might be serving a community service sentence, or perhaps he was just hung over. But I was there for the product, not the service, so I won't ding them for the aloofness. (The person working the donut window next door was lovely and politely pointed me in the right direction, since the bagel window isn't as obvious.) Would I go back? Maybe. But at this price, these bagels seem more like a high end treat than a regular occurrence. Check it out for yourself. I didn't think you'll be disappointed.“

“First time here, perfect bagels, perfect (seriously delicious) coffee, excellent service, and a nice place to sit by the fire, but OMG the loud, seemingly A.I.-generated music on the speakers was enough to make me want to run out screaming. I don’t know if that’s a choice to save money on music licensing or to keep people from sitting too long in the lounge area, but the music was bad enough that I would plan on always getting my food to go in the future. Otherwise highly recommend!“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently ordered a cannoli cake from Kelly Cannolis for a surprise party for my wife, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. The cake was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment I contacted them to the final bite, it was clear that Kelly Cannolis takes their craft seriously. The cake was not only beautifully presented but also incredibly delicious. The cannoli filling was rich and creamy, and the cake itself was moist and flavorful. My wife was overjoyed when she saw the cake, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. It was the highlight of the party, and I have Kelly Cannolis to thank for that. If you're looking for a delightful treat that will impress both your taste buds and your guests, I wholeheartedly recommend Kelly Cannolis. They truly know how to create a dessert that leaves a lasting impression. I'll definitely be a returning customer! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Changing my review after having 3 straight orders messed up, one was the wrong bagel after I paid extra for the cheddar jalapeno and got a plain. Another was being given the wrong order, why bother asking my name if you aren't going to call it or confirm. The last was being given a coffee that could not keep the lid on and spilling coffee all over myself. So, down to four stars“

“Had really rough day at work so I came here to grab late lunch/early dinner
The food quality here is always on point. The salmon is thick and soft. I got mine as seared and it tasted wonderful. My favorite roll is musashi roll as I love the sauce combo! The food is always presented so beautifully too!
Always loved the atmosphere, it’s quiet and relaxing!
Thank you for making my day better with yummy food!“

“If a place can make a plain bagel that I can eat and enjoy without cream cheese, that's a pretty damn good bagel place in my opinion. The inside of the bagel was perfectly soft and fluffy, with a nice chewy outside crust that did not feel like chewing through leather. Amazing service, too. Added bonus is that their chocolate chip cookies are amazing.“
