The bacon in the MacGregor was perfect and I loved the cheese on the Pike. They're crispy on the outside, perfect for your favorite toppings, and flakey on the inside. I took them home and they paired well with breakfast and the chili I had for dinner. Huge thank you to the staff for the recommendations! If you haven't been here, what are you waiting for?“

“Oh my god. This place slaps! I really enjoyed! I was raised in the South in Texas, but let me tell you.. This place is a new stop as a Washington Local now. The biscuits are so soft and warm, they melt in your mouth good. The gravy was just phenomenal and the atmosphere is everything. Try it for yourself!“

“Went to a cafe to study and connect with a close friend. Saw the atmosphere was not ideal and decided to try this out. The staff was extremely courteous and allowed up to setup, without providing pressure to become customers. Ample seating provided, and saw other patrons see this place as ideal for regular meetups. Excellent ethic menu, excited to try various delicious dishes from the Fertile Crescent.

“I ordered an avocado sandwich, it was ok, lacked a little of imagination. The croissant was pretty good and the macarons were really good.
The atmosphere seem a little sad, maybe it was just the time of the day I went.

This place is no longer entirely vegan, and has changed their name to Pluto“

“Awesome biscuits. Had the cheesy gritty gravy biscuit (probably not word for word from the menu). Wish I could've eaten it inside, but there are tables and chair on the sidewalk, which turned out to make for a nice morning. The area is a little questionable...not dangerous though. Security hangs out nearby, and I never felt threatened...Just including this for families with kids. No ding on the restaurant's rating!!“

“Very cute mom and pop type breakfast diner. Service was quiet and considerate, and was greeted almost immediately upon entering. I was offered coffee or water (not sure if there were other options) and a menu. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. Being from the south, I had high hopes for this dish. The eggs were amazing and only needed a little salt and pepper. The scones in the entree were a little grainy but overall very nice. And the gravy was well seasoned. I would have loved if sausage gravy was an option, but I know that is a personal preference. Overall, I believe I may have found my new favorite breakfast spot.“
