a/stir is an absolute gem, especially for anyone navigating gluten free dining without wanting to feel limited. They’ve created a menu that lets you fully indulge or keep things light and healthy, all while making every dish feel intentional and elevated. It’s one of those rare places that works perfectly for everyone at the table, whether you’re gluten free or not. The food, atmosphere, and overall experience were truly wonderful. Chef/owner was present but made jokes that were really not funny, like “oh you can watch them eat” when only two of our meals showed up and “she can enjoy HER meal” when we said that our friend was from out of town. Just overall his humour didn’t match the vibe of the restaurant. The music didn’t match the setting either. It seemed odd that they were playing pop including Britney Spears. We came for the GF kitchen because our friend is celiac and visiting from Poland....
