I love Grand Central bakery. However, the last time I was at the Eastlake location, everything went wrong. They made my sandwich with the wrong bread, which is understandable. Mistakes happens. I was in a hurry, the lady that was cooking my sandwich got upset, when I was there to pick up my sandwich and I noticed it was the wrong bread, then she burned my sandwich (the one with the correct bread, you can see the picture), then my other sandwich was also wrong, the egg was overcooked,...
Good location with nice outdoor seating. Baked goods and sandwiches are delicious. My only gripe is with the service, which can be quite slow even when the staff do not appear that busy,
One of 3rd places in Seattle. Great food, great staff, and a great place to spend a weekend morning reading, writing, or working on my laptop.
Love the tuna salad sandwich and breakfast sandwiches. The bacon egg quiche and kale salad are also favorites.
