I like this place for a quick lunch. A bowl of soup and a full sandwich is very filling. I find their food to be of good quality and yummy.
One of 3rd places in Seattle. Great food, great staff, and a great place to spend a weekend morning reading, writing, or working on my laptop.
Love the tuna salad sandwich and breakfast sandwiches. The bacon egg quiche and kale salad are also favorites.
Clean store and friendly staff. Pretty good coffee and their breakfast sandwiches are tasty and good size. A little more expensive than other spots but the ingredients in their food are much higher quality than other places. Fresh cooked eggs and real bacon. They got oldies playing on the radio.

The Grand Central Bakery - Eastlake cafe offers a delightful array of baked goods, salads, soups, and sandwiches. Customers praise the food as "so good," though the service can be slow, with wait times of up to an hour, even when the cafe is not crowded. The cafe is described as a "true gem" with a European bakery-like atmosphere, and customers appreciate the nice vegan and vegetarian options. Despite construction nearby making parking a bit difficult, the cafe remains a popular destination for breakfast sandwiches, tuna melts, grilled cheese, and baked goods, as well as matcha lattes and veggie quiche. The service is reported to be quick and friendly, and the overall atmosphere is calm, even when the cafe is quite busy.
