“This place has tortas and burritos with amazing flavor!! Head straight to El Pirata Tortas. I’ve tried several, but my favorites are definitely El Cubano and the carnitas tacos. They nail it every time.
Great prices, great service, and guaranteed flavor.

“The Pan con Mechada from here is an interesting sandwich - it works kind of like a grilled cheese but with shredded beef inside
The bread is a bolillo roll, which I haven't had before. It kind of reminds me of the bread used for a Cubano, in that it's soft on the inside and grilled on the outside. I think the outer toasting really works well here to give it a firmness when biting into.
The cheese is melted really well. You first notice this when pulling the sandwiches apart - there's a great cheese pull between the two halves. The swiss cheese is plentiful and is what really makes this sandwich
I didn't taste any caramelized onions - maybe they were present - but it was in a very limited quantity.
Lastly, the main ingredient - the beef. This was just fine. It felt a little cold, which was odd because the rest of the sandwich remained warm. It didn't feel overcooked, but wasn't juicy either. I also didn't feel like I was getting the full flavors from the carne mechada - there wasn't much onion, garlic, or additional flavors other than just the main beef taste
It's not too expensive for a sandwich, but the portion is surprisingly small.
Overall, I think it's fine sandwich, but would certainly recommend this consuming this right after it's made to improve the experience. 7.25/10“

“Cannot recommend this place enough! As we were waiting for our food for takeout, they gave us free carnitas tacos, which were soooo good! Food was amazing, staff was so friendly, and prices were great! Anyone looking for amazing Mexican food should come here!“

“El Patio has delicious food, inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. Pricing is very fair with large generous portions. -The tamales and pupusa’s are very good and filling!!! The bar is fully stocked and the kitchen is ready for large events! Don’t forget to try the specialty drinks & consider for catering. I will return many times with my family, this place is great!!!“
“The food was good. We came on a Monday night so it was pretty slow. David served us and he was amazing! Very attentive and nice. Always came to our table with a smile :)

“I’ve been here twice! Once for their soft opening and once for their soft brunch opening and I have to say, WOW. The menus are carefully crafted with tons of attention to detail. The presentation is on point, and the personality is highlighted through both the incredible food and the wonderful conversation you will have with the owner Diego. MAKE SURE TO GET THE SANGRIMOSAS. For food, our group went with the arepas benedict, blue corn pancakes, the cubano sandwich and some empanadas of the day and every single one of them was a standout. You can tell they take their time making sure everything is as it should be, and the results are a great time to catch up with friends punctuated by some of the greatest brunch foods I’ve had since moving to Seattle. Will definitely be back!“

“I was looking for a vegan-friendly restaurant and found this gem on the internet. It was the best restaurant meal we had all week while in Seattle! The chef was very kind and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. If we ever make it back to the area, we will definitely eat here again!“

“I had jury duty and how wonderfully convenient that Pan de La Selva is one block from the Municipal Court. The Seattle Times just did an article about how amazing they are and how they are also “hidden in plain sight” which is 100% accurate. They’re located on the corner of Cherry & 4th in what appears to be a tiny glass box. Don’t be fooled, there’s tons of space if you open the door and go in!!
I loved the vibe inside, colorful, playful and inviting. The baked goods are absolutely divine and very unique enveloping flavors of Mexico, Central, and Latin America. I was in a hurry or else I would have ordered more but will certainly be back when I have more time. Also, the ladies who own this space are amazing and so kind. Don’t sleep on this bakery, treat yourself!“

“Delicious! Menu has excellent variety (with options and easy substitutions for those of us with dietary requirements) and is reasonably priced. Decor is charming. Service is quick and everyone is incredibly friendly. Echoing what other reviews have said - Mexican family dining at its best. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.“
“this was my girl first time fine dining! I didn’t realize it was gonna be such a personal experience with just us and the chef! I have really never tried a lot of Vietnamese food out of your typical Banh mi, so I was eager to experience a taste of Vietnam! And I definitely did! It was a six course meal and everything was truly delicious! I had never had lotus root before and honestly, it was probably one of the most refreshing vegetables I think I’ve ever had!
There’s something unique about experiencing flavors and foods that you’ve never experienced culturally. Chef Anne was very kind, communicative, and informational more about each dish she made us. Will definitely be back again to try the rotating chefs! I’d love to experience an African chef cuisine!“

“Maya's catered our wedding and they were SPECTACULAR. Went above and beyond to give our 100 guests a really great dinner. We ordered a variety of tacos and fajitas, and they had the thought to include cheese enchiladas for any vegetarians. We had compliments from everyone about how good the food was! We have friends from up in Shoreline that have driven down to the Rainier Ave location to get dinner since the wedding!The setup was all very nice, and the staff set up the cutest tortilla chip basket waterfall, helped serve dinner, and even helped clean up and pack up the leftovers for us.They were easy to work with, priced fairly, and the food and service was excellent. Highly recommended!!“
