Lil Woody's White Center offers good burgers, including the best black bean burgers in the area, the Lil Woody, and the Trotter, which is easily the best burger in a while. There are options for build your own burgers, a malt option for shakes, and crispy, flavorful onion rings. However, the fries are a bummer; they are cut in house and single fried, leading to very soggy, greasy, and floppy fries. The burger patty is definitely preformed, bordering on frozen. The food is solid, straightforward, and satisfying, but the main issue is cost, with $40+ for 2 burgers and a basket of fries. The location has a different vibe than the Ballard spot, feeling like multiple food concepts under one roof with a more eclectic, "cafeteria" feel. The space is smaller but comfortable, and the staff is friendly. It can get busy during peak hours with tough parking, but it is worth stopping by if in the area.
