I love bringing people here for quick and easy night out in Ballard. The whiskey selection is great, as you would hope. I asked some pretty specific questions about the whiskey selection that they answered on the spot with recommendations. I feel shy to say that I’m not really into the fish and chips. The coating falls off and is sometimes burnt. Doesn’t stop me from coming back for poutine and burger.
Great place to get fish and chips among other Scottish food. I highly recommend scotch egg, it was very, very good! Ambience of the place overall was great, I highly recommend and I will come back.
Came to watch a World Cup game, sat outside, not far from the front/main screen, but very challenging to see the game and couldn’t hear any of the audio (so definitely don’t recommend for watching the WC/football games). Just had one dish and that was decent but the beer pours were bad (way too big a head and even then the pint glass wasn’t close to being full). Wouldn’t come back even though I’m Scottish☹
